Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production, en deux étapes, d'articles de type contenants en polypropylène, transparents, à faible opacité, moulés par injection-soufflage avec bi-étirage, présentant des caractéristiques de retrait libre avantageuses. Au cours d'une première étape de traitement, une préforme est produite sur une presse d'injection. Au cours d'une deuxième étape, pouvant être réalisée à distance de l'appareil utilisé lors de la première étape, la préforme est chauffée et est soumise à un soufflage avec étirage pour former un contenant. Ce procédé peut comprendre une étape consistant à réaliser des préformes facilitant le soufflage avec étirage à des cadences relativement élevées, tout en maintenant une morphologie du polypropylène appropriée, ce qui permet d'obtenir des contenants transparents, à faible opacité. Le retrait libre peut être amélioré et mesuré. En outre, des paramètres tels que l'opacité, l'indice de fluidité à chaud et l'épaisseur de paroi des contenants soumis à un test de retrait libre, une fois produits, peuvent être utilisés pour estimer ou prédire les paramètres de traitement intervenant dans la production des contenants.
