Abstract

Procédé de commande du fonctionnement d’un cylindre de moteur à combustion interne du type multicylindre à cycle quatre temps, ledit cylindre coopérant avec au moins un injecteur de carburant, une soupape d’admission, une soupape d’échappement, des organes de manoeuvre pour commander l’ouverture des soupapes selon le déroulement du cycle et des moyens pilotés par un calculateur de contrôle moteur selon des conditions prédéterminées de fonctionnement dudit moteur pour mettre sélectivement en service ou hors service lesdites soupapes dudit cylindre, caractérisé en ce que la mise hors service desdites soupapes est opérée simultanément, et en ce que la mise hors service desdites soupapes s’opère à l’intérieur d’un cycle, à un instant coïncidant sensiblement au milieu de la période s’étendant entre les instants consécutifs théoriques d’ouverture de la soupape d’admission (OA) et d’ouverture de la soupape d’échappement (OE).
