Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and system for providing predetermined personal home page information to a mobile communication terminal, and more particularly, to a method and system for providing personal homepage information, in which personal homepage information including a user identifier is received from a personal homepage web server, the personal homepage information is transmitted to a mobile communication terminal corresponding to mobile communication terminal number information included in user information, and the personal homepage information is outputted in the mobile communication terminal.

Description

A METHOD FOR PROVIDING MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICE WITH PERSONAL WEBPAGE CONTENTS AND A SYSTEM THEREOF

Technical Field The present invention relates to a method and system for providing predetermined personal homepage information to a mobile communication terminal, and more particularly, to a method and system for providing personal homepage information, in which personal homepage information including a user identifier is received from a personal homepage web server, the personal homepage information is transmitted to a mobile communication terminal corresponding to mobile communication terminal number information included in user information, and the personal homepage information is outputted in the mobile communication terminal.

Background Art With great increase of Internet population, service based on Internet are activated, such as various communities formed via Internet, community activities via Internet, and providing personal homepage of a user such as a blog. Also, when personal homepage services are increased, conventional blog service centered on a board function is developed in the direction of supporting multimedia data. The blog is a compound word made up of the words web indicating Internet and log indicating materials and indicates a sort of a personal site in which something is freely written according to the interest of a user. . According to a conventional method, when a user uses a personal homepage or blog service, there is an inconvenience to access a personal homepage web server by wired or wireless Internet via a personal computer, notebook, or PDA instead of a mobile communication terminal. Also, when a user tries to check updated personal homepage information of the personal homepage or blog service, there is also the inconvenience to access a personal homepage web server by wired or wireless Internet via a personal computer, notebook, or PDA. FIG. 1 is a view illustrating an example of a user personal homepage via a web according to a conventional method. Referring to FIG. 1, a service providing a user personal homepage to a first user according to the conventional method is accessed by using wired or wireless Internet via a terminal including a network module, such as a personal computer, notebook, and PDA. In this case, the user personal homepage indicates a homepage or blog, that is, all sorts of pages providing a menu for accessing a personal homepage. The first user accesses a personal homepage web server by using a terminal such as a personal computer, notebook, and PDA, inputs user information including a user identifier and password, receives the web address of the personal homepage of the first user from the personal homepage web server, and can use the personal homepage service. A user may access the personal homepage of the first user and input predetermined personal homepage information to the personal homepage of the first user. The personal homepage information may be multimedia data including at least one of texts, images, moving images, and audio data. For example, in the personal homepage of the first user shown in FIG. 1, the first user selects a 'board' and inputs a text, and the inputted text data is stored in a personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server. The first user or other users may access the personal homepage of the first user and browse the inputted text via a terminal such as a personal computer, notebook, and PDA. The first user may upload an image file, such as a personal homepage shown in FIG. 3 to personal homepage web server. The uploaded image file is stored in the database of the personal homepage web server. The first user or other users may access the personal homepage of the first user and browse the uploaded image file via a terminal such as a persona computer, notebook, and PDA. Also, when the first user or a second user inputs multimedia data, it may be indicated in the personal homepage of the user that new data is inputted. That is, referring to FIG. 1, it may be indicted in 'updated news' that the new multimedia data is inputted by the first user or the second user in the personal homepage of the first user. Also, it may be shown as 'the number of currently updated data/the number of the entire data' in parts indicated as 'diary', 'board', or 'visitor' book' whether data is inputted by the first or second user in the personal homepage of the first user. As described above, in environment of user personal homepage service according a conventional method, there is restriction in which a user has to access the personal homepage web server in wired or wireless Internet environment via a terminal such as personal computer, notebook, and PDA in case that a user tries to use a personal homepage. Also, if the first or second user accesses the personal homepage web server to check inputted multimedia data, the first or second user accesses the personal homepage web server by using a terminal such as a personal computer, notebook, and PDA. Accordingly, such that a user can conveniently use user personal homepage service via a mobile communication terminal at every time and everywhere, a service is much needed, which can receive data requesting renewal with respect to personal homepage information from the mobile communication terminal and renew the database of the personal homepage web server.

Disclosure of Invention Technical Goals To improve the conventional method, the present invention provides a method and system for providing personal homepage information to a mobile communication terminal in which personal homepage information stored in a database of a personal homepage web sever is received to renew personal homepage information recorded in a personal homepage database and the renewed personal homepage information and user terminal number information are transmitted to a predetermined messaging server or a mobile communication terminal to output to the output means of the mobile communication terminal, thereby conveniently using personal homepage service via a mobile communication terminal. The present invention also provides a method and system for providing personal homepage information, in which such that a user can input predetermined data to a database of a personal homepage web server via a mobile communication terminal, data requesting renewal with respect to personal homepage information is transmitted from the mobile communication terminal, the personal homepage information of a personal homepage database is renewed and recorded according to the renewal request data, the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database is synchronized with personal homepage information recorded in a second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server, thereby conveniently using personal homepage service via a mobile communication terminal. The present invention also provides a method and system for providing personal homepage information, in which an existing network environment as it self can be used and the cost can be reduced while a user can conveniently use personal homepage service via his or her mobile communication terminal at every time and everywhere.

Technical Solutions According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of providing personal homepage information from a personal homepage WAP server to a mobile communication terminal, the method including: a step of maintaining a user database including user information, wherein the user information includes one of terminal number information and a user identifier; a step of maintaining_' a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded; a step of renewing the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database according to renewal information with respect to the personal homepage information received from a personal homepage web server; a step of searching user information corresponding to the renewed personal homepage information with reference to the user database; and a step of transmitting the renewed personal homepage information and the terminal number information included in the user information to a predetermined messaging server, wherein the messaging server operates such that the transmitted personal homepage information is converted into a second personal homepage information with a format which can be outputted in a mobile communication terminal of a user and is transmitted to a mobile communication terminal corresponding to the terminal number information. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of providing personal homepage information from a personal homepage WAP server to a mobile communication terminal, the method including: a step of maintaining a user database including user information, wherein the user information includes one of terminal number information and a user identifier; a step of maintaining a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded; a step of renewing the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database according to renewal information with respect to the personal homepage information received from a personal homepage web server; a step of processing the renewed personal homepage information into second personal homepage information with a format which can be outputted in a mobile communication terminal; a step of searching user information corresponding to the renewed personal homepage information with reference to the user database; and a step of transmitting the second personal homepage information to a mobile communication terminal corresponding to the terminal number information included in the searched user information. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of renewing personal homepage information performed in a personal homepage WAP server, the method including: a step of maintaining a user database including user information, wherein the user information includes one of terminal number information and a user identifier; a step of maintaining a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded; a step of receiving renewal request data with respect to the personal homepage information from a mobile communication terminal, wherein the renewal request data includes terminal number information of the mobile communication terminal; a step of searching the personal homepage information corresponding to the terminal number information with reference to the personal homepage database; a step of renewing and recording the personal homepage information searched from the personal homepage database according to the renewal request data; and a step of synchronizing personal homepage information recorded in a second personal homepage database of a personal homepage web server with the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a personal homepage WAP server for providing personal homepage information to a mobile communication terminal, the server including: a user database in which user information of a user is recorded, wherein the user information includes one of terminal number information and a user identifier; a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded; a first interface unit for performing data communication with one of a web server and a messaging server; a second interface unit for performing data communication with the mobile communication terminal; an information search unit, in case that a user identifier is received from the personal homepage web server via the first interface unit, the information search unit searching user information corresponding to the received user identifier with reference to the user database and browsing personal homepage information corresponding to the searched user information with reference to the personal homepage database; and a transmission control unit controlling such that the read personal homepage information is transmitted to the mobile communication terminal corresponding to the terminal number information included in the searched user information, wherein the personal homepage database is synchronized with a second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a personal homepage WAP server operating in order to renew personal homepage information recorded in a personal homepage web server by using a mobile communication terminal, the server including: a user database in which user information of a user is recorded, wherein the user information includes one of terminal number information and a user identifier; a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded; an interface for receiving renewal request data with respect to the personal homepage information from the mobile communication terminal, wherein the renewal request data includes terminal number information of the mobile communication terminal; an information search unit searching the personal homepage information corresponding to the terminal number information with reference to the personal homepage database; a personal homepage web server communication unit performing data communication with the personal homepage web server; and a transmission control unit controlling such that personal homepage information searched from the personal homepage database is renewed according to the renewal request data and recorded and personal homepage information recorded in a second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server is synchronized with the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention Hereinafter, a method and system for providing predetermined personal homepage information to a mobile communication terminal, according to the present invention, will be described with reference to the attached drawings. FIG. 2 is a view illustrating an example of a method of providing predetermined personal homepage information to a mobile communication terminal, according to the present invention. In FIG. 2, personal homepage information is converted into a format which can be outputted by the output means of a mobile communication terminal via a predetermined messaging server and transmitted, and transmitted personal homepage information is shown in the output means, a display means, of the mobile communication terminal. Referring to FIG. 2, the personal homepage information outputted on a mobile communication terminal by the personal homepage information providing method according to the present invention may include a title 201 showing the number of visitors of a personal homepage of a user and the number of new notices, a portion 202 showing messages and gifts transmitted to a first user from a second user, a portion 203 showing new messages of the first user or second user, and icons 204, 205, 206, and 207 for an action tag. In this case, a mobile communication terminal indicates a device equipped with a predetermined processor for computation and hardware and/or software accessing a wired or wireless commumcation network, such as a PDA and mobile phone. An application program may be installed in the mobile communication terminal, which is for outputting the personal homepage information 200 shown in FIG. 2 and showing the personal homepage information 200 shown in the output means of the mobile communication terminal by using personal homepage information transmitted from a personal homepage WAP server or messaging server (not shown). The application program may be a firmware embedded in the mobile communication terminal or software particularly manufactured for receiving the personal homepage service according to the present invention. The personal homepage information 200 shown in the output portion of the mobile communication terminal may be shown in the output means of the mobile communication terminal in case that the mobile communication terminal operates in a standby mode. The title 201 showing the number of user visitors and new notices shows the number of the visitors accessing the personal homepage of the first user via wired or wireless Internet or mobile Internet and information of the personal homepage, outputted in the output means of the mobile communication of the first user in case that the first or second user inputs new data to the personal homepage of the first user. In this case, the number of visitors of the personal homepage and new notices shown in the mobile communication terminal may be renewed in real-time via the personal homepage WAP server. The portion 202 showing the messages and gifts transmitted to the first user from the second user is personal homepage information shown in the output means of the mobile communication terminal, which is coupled with data recorded in the personal homepage of the personal homepage web server of the first user in case that the second user sends a message or gift from a personal homepage of the second user. In this case, the number of the message and gift outputted in the mobile communication terminal may be renewed in real-time via the personal homepage WAP server in case that the second user inputs to send the message or gift to the first user in the personal homepage of the second user. A process of renewing the number of the visitors and new notices and the number of the message and gift sent from the second user to the first user outputted in the mobile communication terminal is as following. (1) The personal homepage WAP server maintains a user database including first or second user information. The user information includes terminal number information or a user identifier, and the user identifier may include ID of the user or a password. (2) The personal homepage WAP server maintains a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded. (3) The personal homepage WAP server renews the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database according to renewal information with respect to personal homepage information received from the personal homepage web server. (4) The personal homepage WAP server searches user information corresponding to the renewed personal homepage information with reference to the user database and transmits the renewed personal homepage information and the terminal number information included in the user information to a predetermined messaging server. In this case, the personal homepage WAP server may process the personal homepage information renewed by the personal homepage WAP server to second personal homepage information with a format which can be outputted in a mobile communication terminal and transmit the second personal homepage information to the mobile communication terminal via mobile Internet, without passing through the messaging server. (5) The messaging server converts the transmitted personal homepage information into the second personal homepage information with the format which can be outputted in the mobile communication terminal and transmits the second homepage information to the mobile communication terminal corresponding to the terminal number infonnation. In this case, the second personal homepage information converted by the messaging server may be extended short message service. For example, when the second user accesses the personal homepage of the first user via wired or wireless Internet or mobile Internet, the data of the number of visitors recorded in the database of the personal homepage WAP server is renewed. When the data of the number of the visitors via the wired or wireless Internet, the personal homepage web server transmits the user identifier of the first user and personal homepage renewal information, that is, renewed visitors number data to the personal homepage WAP server, and the personal homepage WAP server renews the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database according to the receive personal homepage renewal information of the first user. Next, user information corresponding to the renewed personal homepage information of the first user is searched with reference to the user database. The renewed personal homepage information corresponding to terminal number information included in the searched first user information and the terminal information included in the user information are transmitted to the messaging server in order to renew the personal homepage information, that is, the number of visitors, outputted in the mobile communication terminal. In this case, the personal homepage information may not pass through the messaging server, and the personal homepage information renewed by the personal homepage WAP server may be processed to second personal homepage information which can be outputted in the mobile communication terminal and transmitted to the mobile communication terminal via mobile Internet. In this case, the second personal homepage information may be transmitted as packet data. An application program for renewing the personal homepage information shown in a predetermined output means according to the transmitted personal homepage information is installed in a mobile communication terminal. The application program may be a firmware embedded in a mobile communication terminal or a specific application driven in a mobile platform such as WAP, SK-NM, BREW, and WTPI according to mobile network providers and particularly manufactured in order to receive personal homepage service according to the present invention. The number of visitors of a personal homepage may be renewed and shown in the output means of a mobile communication terminal by the described method. The process may be applied in case of the number of new notices and messages and gifts sent from the second user to the first user shown in a mobile communication terminal. Accordingly, though the first user does not access the personal homepage by Internet via a terminal such as a personal computer, notebook, and PDA, the first user can check the personal homepage of the first user via the personal homepage information 200 outputted in the output means in case that the mobile communication terminal of the first user operates in a standby mode. The icons 204, 205, 206, and 207 for an action tag may include access information to access a predetermined menu such as a board and photo album of the personal homepage. When the first user inputs selection with respect to the icons 204, 205, 206, and 207 for an action tag in the mobile communication terminal, the mobile communication terminal is accessed to personal homepage WAP server corresponding to the access information such that personal homepage information included in the personal homepage menu is transmitted from the personal homepage WAP server and outputted in the output means of the mobile communication terminal. The icons for an action tag may be generated by using Markup Language Service based on the extended short message service. When the selection with respect to the icons 204, 205, 206, and 207 for an action tag is inputted from the first user, the mobile communication terminal is accessed to the personal homepage WAP server corresponding to the access infonnation included in the icons 204, 205, 206, and 207 for an action tag. The personal homepage WAP server searches personal homepage information corresponding to the access information included in the action tag with reference to the personal homepage database and transmits the searched personal homepage information to the mobile communication terminal such that the personal homepage information corresponding to the inputted selection is outputted in the output means of the mobile communication terminal. In FIG. 2, a user respectively selects personal information management 204, personal homepage management 205, personal club management 206, and notice items guidance 207, data corresponding to each of them is requested to a personal homepage WAP server by a mobile communication terminal. The personal homepage WAP server searches personal homepage information corresponding to the access information included in the action tag with reference to the personal homepage database and transmits the searched personal homepage information to the mobile communication terminal such that the personal homepage information is outputted in the output means of the mobile communication terminal. A user may input a predetermined selection with respect to second personal homepage information shown in the output means of the mobile communication terminal and input data in a predetermined user interface provided via selection input. The data inputted by the user is recorded in the personal homepage database of the personal homepage WAP server. The database of the personal homepage web server may be synchronized with the personal homepage database of the personal homepage WAP server such that the data inputted by the user is recorded I the database of the personal homepage web server. A personal homepage information renewal process of a personal homepage web server via a mobile communication terminal is as following. (1) The personal homepage WAP server maintains a user database including user information. The user information may include terminal number information or a user identifier. (2) The personal homepage WAP server maintains a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information. (3) The personal homepage WAP server receives renewal request data with respect to the personal homepage information from the mobile communication terminal. The renewal request data may include terminal number information of the mobile communication terminal. (4) The personal homepage WAP server searches the personal homepage information corresponding to the terminal number information with reference to the personal homepage database and renews and records the personal homepage information searched in the personal homepage database according to the renewal request data. (5) The personal homepage WAP server synchronizes personal homepage information recorded in a second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server with the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database. (6) In the mobile communication terminal, a particularly programmed application program particularly programmed may be installed or a general mobile Internet browser may be embedded in order to access the personal homepage WAP server to renew the personal homepage information recorded in the second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server. In case that the data inputted by the first user is recorded in the personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server, the fact that new data is registered may be shown in the output means of the mobile communication terminal according to the personal homepage information providing method according to the present invention. In FIG. 2, a user respectively selects personal information management 204, personal homepage management 205, personal club management 206, and notice items guidance 207, data corresponding to each of them is requested to the personal homepage WAP server by the mobile communication terminal. The personal homepage WAP server searches personal homepage information corresponding to access information included in the action tag with reference to the personal homepage database and transmits the searched personal homepage information to the mobile communication terminal such that the personal homepage information corresponding to the inputted selection is outputted in the output means of the mobile communication terminal. When the user inputs predetermined data to record in the personal homepage via the mobile communication terminal, the data is transmitted to the personal homepage WAP server and the transmitted data is stored in the personal homepage database of the personal homepage WAP server. The database of the personal homepage web server is synchronized with the personal homepage database of the personal homepage WAP server such that the data inputted by the user is recorded in the database of the personal homepage web server. FIG. 3 is a view illustrating an example of a method of providing personal homepage information including image data outputted on a mobile communication terminal. In a view of FIG. 3, personal homepage information is transmitted from the personal homepage WAP server according to the present invention to a mobile communication terminal in packet data and shown in the output means of the mobile communication terminal. In addition to the view of FIG. 3, in which the personal homepage information is shown, the personal homepage infonnation transmitted in the packet data may include audio data. In this case, background music (BGM) set up by a user may be embodied to be outputted via the output means, a speaker, of the mobile communication terminal. Referring to FIG. 3, personal homepage information 300 including image data outputted in a mobile communication terminal according to the present invention may include a title 300 showing the number of visitors and new notices of a personal homepage of a user, an image content part 302, a portion 303 showing messages and gifts sent from a second user to a first user. In the image content part 302, the personal homepage WAP server renews personal homepage information recorded in a personal homepage database according to renewal information with respect to personal homepage information, received from the personal homepage web server and transmits second personal homepage information processed by using the renewed personal homepage information to the mobile communication terminal, and the mobile communication terminal outputs the transmitted second personal homepage information to the output means of the mobile communication terminal via a predetermined application program. FIG. 4 is a view illustrating an example of a view showing personal homepage information transmitted via a predetermined messaging server of methods for providing personal homepage information outputted on a mobile communication terminal, according to the present invention, similar to the shown in FIG. 2. Referring to FIG. 4, personal homepage infonnation 400 outputted in a mobile communication terminal according to the present invention may include a title 401 showing the number of visitors and new notices of a personal homepage of a user, a view type icon 402 using image personal homepage information, a telephone connection type action tag 403, a new message indicator 404, a scroll bar 405, and an icon for an action tag 406. In the view type icon 402 using image personal homepage information, the personal homepage WAP server transmits second personal homepage information processed by using personal homepage renewal information received from a personal homepage web server, and the mobile communication terminal outputs the transmitted second personal homepage information in the output means of the mobile communication terminal. The telephone connection type action tag 403 performs a function in which when a first user inputs selection with respect to the telephone connection type action tag 403, a second user writing a new message outputted in the mobile communication terminal is called. That is, when the first user inputs the selection with respect to the connection type action tag 403, the mobile communication terminal may operate to call a mobile communication terminal of the second user. That is, the telephone connection type action tag 403 may be controlled to operate in order to call the second user in case that the number of the mobile communication terminal of the second user is recorded and the selection with respect to the action tag 403 is inputted from the user. The scroll bar 405 performs a function in which a user can scroll the view of a new message outputted in the mobile communication terminal on the output means of the mobile communication terminal. FIG. 5 is a view illustrating an example of a view showing personal homepage information transmitted to a mobile communication terminal from a personal homepage WAP server, in packet data, of methods for providing personal homepage information including multimedia data outputted on a mobile communication terminal, similar to the shown in FIG. 3. Referring to FIG. 5, personal homepage information 500 outputted in a mobile communication terminal, which is according to the present invention, may include a user personal homepage title 501, a user personal homepage menu 502, and a scroll bar 503. The personal homepage WAP server transmits personal homepage information converted into a predetermined format to a mobile communication terminal such that multimedia data can be outputted via the output means of the mobile communication terminal. Also, when the mobile communication terminal operates in a standby mode, the personal homepage WAP server may transmit personal homepage information with a predetermined format, such as audio data, such that background music set up by the user in a personal homepage of the user can be outputted in the standby mode of the mobile communication terminal of the user. In FIG. 7, when the mobile communication terminal accesses a personal homepage WAP server according to the present invention via mobile Internet, personal homepage information provided to the mobile communication terminal is renewed. Referring to FIG. 7, the user may input data in a predetermined personal homepage via a mobile communication terminal, and the inputted data which is renewal request data is transmitted to the personal homepage WAP server according to the present invention. The personal homepage WAP server renews a personal homepage database of the personal homepage WAP server by using the renewal request data and synchronizes personal homepage information recorded in a personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server with the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database of the personal homepage WAP server. The personal homepage WAP server maintains a user database including user information. The user information may include tenninal number infonnation or a user identifier. The personal homepage WAP server maintains the personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded. The personal homepage WAP server receives the renewal request data with respect to the personal homepage information from the mobile communication terminal. The renewal request data may include terminal number information of the mobile communication terminal. An application program particularly programmed for accessing the personal homepage WAP server in order to renew the personal homepage information recorded in the second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web sever may be installed in the mobile communication terminal. In case that data inputted by a first user is recorded in the personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server, the fact that new data is registered may be indicated in the output means of the mobile communication terminal according to the method of providing personal homepage information, according to the present invention. The described personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server may be physically separate from the personal homepage database of the personal homepage WAP server or be embodied as one database means. In FIG. 7, when the user selects an action tag type icon 701 with respect to personal information management in the mobile communication terminal, personal information management personal homepage information conesponding to access infonnation included in the action tag is outputted in the output means of the mobile communication tenninal via the personal homepage WAP server, as shown in 702 and 706. Referring to FIG. 10, the user selects an action tag with respect to an easy phone page (hereinafter, refened to as an easy phonepy) notice items outputted in a view of the mobile communication terminal, in 1001, and selects an action tag with respect to a predetermined notice item, in 1002, thereby browsing personal homepage information corresponding the easy phonepy notice items and the notice item via the mobile communication terminal. Referring to FIG. 11, the network connection of the system providing the personal homepage information to the mobile communication terminal may include a mobile communication terminal 1101, mobile Internet 1102, a messaging server 1103, a personal homepage WAP server 1104, a personal homepage web server 1105, Internet 1106, a personal computer 1107, and a notebook 1108. Though the personal homepage WAP server 1104 and the personal homepage web server 1105 are shown as independent systems in FIG. 11, the personal homepage WAP server may be a system existing in the personal homepage web server 1105 or embodied as an application server formed of a certain software module which is not a physical system. The design may be easily changed according to the embodiment of the present invention, and the personal homepage WAP server 1104 and the personal homepage web server may be independent systems managed by a separate manager. The mobile communication terminal 1101 indicates an apparatus which is equipped with a processor for a predetermined computation process and hardware and/or software to access wired or wireless communication network, such as PDA and a mobile phone. An application program for outputting personal homepage information and showing personal homepage information transmitted from the personal homepage WAP server in the output means of the mobile communication terminal may be installed in the mobile communication tenninal. The user identifier may include a user ID or password. In this case, the personal homepage information may be data based on a packet, which is made by renewing multimedia data including at least one of texts, images, moving images, and audio data. FIG. 12 is a diagram illustrating the network connection of a method and system for renewing personal homepage information, in which a personal homepage database of a personal homepage web server is renewed by using a mobile communication terminal according to the present invention. Referring to FIG. 12, the network connection of the method and system for renewing personal homepage information, in which the database of the personal homepage web server is renewed by using the mobile commumcation terminal may be formed of a mobile communication terminal 1201, mobile Internet 1202, a personal homepage WAP server 1203, a personal homepage web server 1204, Internet 1205, a personal computer 1206, and a notebook 1207. Though the personal homepage WAP server 1203 and the personal homepage web server 1204 are shown as independent systems in FIG. 12, the personal homepage WAP server 1203 may be a system existing in the personal homepage web server 1204 or embodied as an application server formed of a certain software module which is not a physical system. The design may be easily ' changed according to the embodiment of the present invention, and the personal homepage WAP server 1203 and the personal homepage web server 1204 may be independent systems managed by a separate manager. Referring to FIG. 13, the personal homepage WAP server outputting the renewed personal homepage information in the mobile communication tenninal according to the present invention may include a transmission control unit 1306 controlling data transmission to the mobile communication terminal, a user database 1303 storing user information and user identifiers, an information search unit 1305, a personal homepage database 1304, a first interface unit 1307 controlling the network connection with a personal homepage web server and a messaging server, a second interface unit 1302 controlling the network connection with the mobile communication terminal. The personal homepage WAP server is connected to a mobile communication terminal 1301, a personal homepage web server 1309, and a messaging server 1308 via a predetermined network. The user database 1303 records the user information of a user. The user information may include terminal number information or a user identifier. The user identifier may include a user ID and password. The first interface unit 1307 receives personal homepage information including the user identifier from the personal homepage web server 1309 including a second personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded and transmits the personal homepage information and user terminal number information included in the user information to the predetermined messaging server 1308. The information search unit 1305 searches user information corresponding to the received user identifier with reference to the user database 1303. In this case, the transmission control unit 1302 may process the personal homepage information into second personal homepage information with a format which can be outputted in the mobile communication terminal 1301. The messaging server 1308 may operate such that the transmitted personal homepage information is converted into the second personal homepage information with the format which can be outputted in the mobile communication terminal of the user and transmitted to the mobile communication terminal 1301 conesponding to the terminal number. FIG. 14 is a diagram illustrating the network connection of a personal homepage WAP server renewing the database of a personal homepage web server by using a mobile communication terminal according to the present invention. Referring to FIG. 14, the network connection of the personal homepage WAP server renewing the database of the personal homepage web server by using the mobile communication terminal according to the present invention may include a mobile communication terminal 1401, an interface 1402, a user database 1403, an information search unit 1404, a transmission control unit 1405, a personal homepage database 1406, a personal homepage web server communication unit 1407, and a personal homepage web server 1408. The user database 1403 records and maintains the user information of a user. The user information may include terminal number information or a user identifier. The user identifier may include a user ID or password. The interface unit 1402 receives renewal request data with respect to personal homepage information from the mobile communication terminal 1401. The renewal request data may include terminal number information of the mobile communication terminal 1401. The information search unit 1404 searches personal homepage information conesponding to the terminal number information with reference to the personal homepage database 1406. The transmission control unit 1405 renews and records the personal homepage information searched from the personal homepage database according to the renewal request data and synchronizes personal homepage information recorded in a second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server with the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database. The personal homepage web server communication unit 1407 performs predetermined data communication with the personal homepage web server. An application program such as a mobile Internet browser used such that personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server 1408 is embedded in the mobile communication terminal 1401 or separately installed. In this case, the data for renewing the personal homepage information may be message data based on extended short message service or multimedia data including at least one of text, image, moving image, and audio data. Examples of the computer readable recording media include magnetic media (e.g., hard disks, floppy disks, and magnetic tapes), optical media (e.g., CD-ROMs or DND), magneto-optical media (e.g., floptical disks), and hardware devices (e.g., ROMs, RAMs. or flash memories, etc.) that are specially configured to store and perform program instructions. The media may also be transmission media such as optical or metallic lines, wave guides, etc. including a carrier wave transmitting signals specifying the program instructions, data structures, etc. Examples of the program instructions include both machine code, such as produced by a compiler, and files containing high-level languages codes that may be executed by the computer using an interpreter. FIG. 15 is a block diagram of the inside of a general use computer system which can be employed in the method and system for providing personal homepage information according to the present invention. A computer system 1500 includes at least one processor 1510 connected to a main memory device including a Random Access Memory (RAM) 1520 and Read Only Memory (ROM) 1530. The processor 1510 is also called as a Central Processing Unit (CPU). As well-known to those skilled in the art, the ROM 1530 unidirectionally transmits data and instructions to the CPU, and the RAM 1520 generally transmits data and instructions in both- way. The RAM 1520 and the ROM 1530 may include a certain proper form of the computer readable recording media. A mass storage device 1540 is bidirectionally connected to the processor 1510, provides additional data storage ability, and may be one of the described computer readable recording media. The mass storage device 1540 is used for storing programs and data and an auxiliary memory device such as a hard disk with a speed lower than the main memory device. A certain mass storage device such as a CD ROM 1560 may be used. The processor 1510 is connected to at least one input/output interface 1550 such as a video monitor, a track ball, a mouse, a keyboard, a microphone, a touch-screen type display, a card reader, a magnetic or paper tape reader, a voice or hand-writing recognizer, a joy stick, and other known computer input/output unit. The processor 1510 may be connected to a wired or wireless communication network via a network interface 1570. The procedure of the described method can be performed via the network connection. The described devices and tools are well- known to those skilled in the art of computer hardware and software. The described hardware devices may be formed to be operated by at least one software module in order to perform the operations of the present invention.

Industrial Applicability According to the method and system for providing personal homepage information to a mobile communication tenninal, personal homepage information stored in a database of a personal homepage web server is received to renew personal homepage infonnation recorded in a personal homepage database and the renewed personal homepage information and terminal number information of a user are transmitted to a predetermined messaging server or a mobile communication terminal to be outputted in an output means of the mobile communication tenninal, thereby more conveniently using personal homepage service via the mobile communication terminal. Also, according to the method and system for providing personal homepage information, such that a user can input predetermined data to a database of a personal homepage web server via a mobile communication terminal, renewal request data with respect to personal homepage information is transmitted from the mobile communication terminal, personal homepage information of a personal homepage database is renewed and recorded according to the renewal request data, and the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database with personal homepage information recorded in a second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server, thereby more conveniently using personal homepage service via the mobile communication terminal. Also, according to the method and system for providing personal homepage information, existing network environments can be used as itself to obtain the retrenchment of the expenditure while a user can conveniently use personal homepage service at every time and everywhere via a mobile communication terminal. Also, according to the method and system for providing personal homepage infonnation, personal homepage service whose use is rapidly increased now is more activated, thereby satisfying various self-expression needs of a user. While this invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to preferred embodiments thereof, various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims. Claims

1. A method of providing personal homepage information from a personal homepage WAP server to a mobile communication terminal, the method comprising: a step of maintaining a user database including user information, wherein the user information includes one of terminal number information and a user identifier; a step of maintaining a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded; a step of renewing the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database according to renewal information with respect to the personal homepage information received from a personal homepage web server; a step of searching user information corresponding to the renewed personal homepage information with reference to the user database; and a step of transmitting the renewed personal homepage information and the tenninal number information included in the user information to a predetermined messaging server, wherein the messaging server operates such that the transmitted personal homepage information is converted into a second personal homepage information with a format which can be outputted in a mobile communication terminal of a user and is transmitted to a mobile communication terminal corresponding to the terminal number information.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the second personal homepage information transmitted to the mobile communication terminal is outputted in an output means of the mobile communication terminal in case that the mobile communication terminal operates in a stand-by mode.

3. The method of any one of claims 1 and 2, wherein the second personal homepage information converted in the messaging server is an extended short message service.

4. A method of providing personal homepage information from a personal homepage WAP server to a mobile communication terminal, the method comprising: a step of maintaining a user database including user information, wherein the user information includes one of tenninal number information and a user identifier; a step of maintaining a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information conesponding to the user information is recorded; a step of renewing the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database according to renewal information with respect to the personal homepage information received from a personal homepage web server; a step of processing the renewed personal homepage information into second personal homepage information with a format which can be outputted in a mobile communication terminal; a step of searching user information conesponding to the renewed personal homepage information with reference to the user database; and a step of transmitting the second personal homepage information to a mobile communication terminal corresponding to the terminal number information included in the searched user information.

5. The method of 4, wherein the second personal homepage information transmitted to the mobile communication terminal is outputted in an output means of the mobile communication tenninal in case that the mobile communication terminal operates in a stand-by mode.

6. The method of 5, wherein the second personal homepage information includes multimedia data including at least one of texts, images, moving images, and audio data and the output means is one of a display unit or speaker means.

7. The method of any one of claims 1 and 4, wherein the second personal homepage information includes an action tag in which predetermined access infonnation is recorded, the method further comprising a step of transmitting personal homepage information corresponding to the access information to the mobile communication terminal connected via mobile Internet in case that the user inputs selection with respect to the action tag.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein the access information is a predetermined address information of the personal homepage WAP server in which the personal homepage information is stored.

9. The method of any one of claims 1 and 4, wherein the second personal homepage information includes an action tag in which the number of a mobile communication terminal of a second user and the communication with the second user is performed in case that the user inputs selection with respect to the action tag.

10. A method of renewing personal homepage information performed in a personal homepage WAP server, the method comprising: a step of maintaining a user database including user information, wherein the user information includes one of tenninal number information and a user identifier; a step of maintaining a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information conesponding to the user information is recorded; a step of receiving renewal request data with respect to the personal homepage information from a mobile communication terminal, wherein the renewal request data includes terminal number information of the mobile communication terminal; a step of searching the personal homepage information conesponding to the tenninal number information with reference to the personal homepage database; a step of renewing and recording the personal homepage, information searched from the personal homepage database according to the renewal request data; and a step of synchronizing personal homepage information recorded in a second personal homepage database of a personal homepage web server with the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database.

11. A computer readable recording medium in which a program for executing the method according to any one of claims 1, 4, and 10 is recorded.

A personal homepage WAP server for providing personal homepage information to a mobile communication terminal, the server comprising: a user database in which user information of a user is recorded, wherein the user information includes one of terminal number information and a user identifier; a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information corresponding to the user information is recorded; a first interface unit for performing data communication with one of a web server and a messaging server; a second interface unit for performing data communication with the mobile communication terminal; an infonnation search unit, in case that a user identifier is received from the personal homepage web server via the first interface unit, the information search unit searching user information conesponding to the received user identifier with reference to the user database and browsing personal homepage information conesponding to the searched user information with reference to the personal homepage database; and a transmission control unit controlling such that the read personal homepage information is transmitted to the mobile communication terminal conesponding to the tenninal number information included in the searched user information, wherein the personal homepage database is synchronized with a second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server.

The server of claim 12, wherein the transmission control unit transmits the personal homepage information to the messaging server in which the personal homepage information is converted into second personal homepage information with a format which can be outputted in the mobile communication terminal and transmits the second personal homepage information to the mobile communication terminal conesponding to the tenninal number information included in the searched user information.

14. The server of claim 12, wherein when the personal homepage database is renewed due to data synchronization with the second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server, the transmission control unit processes the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database into second personal homepage information with a format which can be outputted in the mobile communication terminal and transmits the second personal homepage information in a packet data form to the mobile communication tenninal corresponding to the tenninal number information included in the searched user information.

15. A personal homepage WAP server operating in order to renew personal homepage information recorded in a personal homepage web server by using a mobile communication terminal, the server comprising: a user database in which user information of a user is recorded, wherein the user information includes one of terminal number information and a user identifier; a personal homepage database in which personal homepage information conesponding to the user information is recorded; an interface for receiving renewal request data with respect to the personal homepage information from the mobile communication terminal, wherein the renewal request data includes terminal number information of the mobile communication terminal; an information search unit searching the personal homepage information conesponding to the tenninal number information with reference to the personal homepage database; a personal homepage web server communication unit performing data communication with the personal homepage web server; and a transmission control unit controlling such that personal homepage information searched from the personal homepage database is renewed according to the renewal request data and recorded and personal homepage information recorded in a second personal homepage database of the personal homepage web server is synchronized with the personal homepage information recorded in the personal homepage database.

16. The server of claim 13, wherein the personal homepage information is message data based on extended short message service.

17. The server of claim 14, wherein the personal homepage includes multimedia data including at least one of text, image, moving image, and audio data.
