Abstract

La présente invention concerne une bande de garniture de passage de roue élastomère qui comprend une surface radialement interne formée avec au moins une rainure circonférentielle et dimensionnée pour s'étendre sensiblement au niveau du passage de roue d'une jante. Un aspect important de cette invention réside dans le fait que cette bande n'a pas besoin d'être produite pour la vitesse potentielle maximale, mais simplement pour un usage normal, ce qui permet de produire ladite bande de manière économique et de l'installer sans difficulté, son prix de vente étant acceptable pour des effets de réduction du danger et donc de vies sauvées qui dépassent les limitations de vitesse éventuelles qu'elle peut imposer.
