Abstract

A ballet shoe of the half-point type comprising an upper part (1) and at least a lower part (2) adapted to act as a support surface for the footsole, said two parts being shaped in such a way as to allow the shoe to bend at the region of the arch of the foot, and elements (3, 4) to bind said shoe to the portion (25) of the foot going out of the shoe, said binding elements (3, 4) comprising a first binding and stretching element (5) connected to at least one protion (6) of the front part of the shoe, adapted to receive the heel, so that said front part of the shoe remains substantially fit to the heel during the bending of the foot.
