Abstract

A mascara container with a construction modified for convenience of usage is provided. The mascara container includes: a brush bar having a mascara solution storage section formed on a main body thereof and brush attached to an end portion thereof; a handle having grooves formed on an inner surface thereof to be engaged with a portion of the mascara solution storage section of the brush bar; a mascara solution storage section for storing a mascara solution, wherein the brush of the brush bar is disposed in an inner portion of the mascara solution storage section; and a storage section adjusting member disposed between the mascara solution storage section and the handle to adjusting an inner space of the mascara solution storage section, wherein by turning the handle, the brush bar moving screw section formed on the inner portion of the handle moves up and down along the grooves formed on the storage section adjusting member, so that the brush of the brush bar protrudes from or returns to the mascara solution storage section. Accordingly, the brush can protrude from or return to the mascara solution storage section by a user’s turning the handle, so that it is possible to maintain the mascara solution storage section in a sealed state and to prevent the mascara solution from being dried and hardened.

Description

APPARATUS FOR MASCARA
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a mascara container as a kind of a cosmetic tool, and more particularly, to a mascara container capable of hermetically sealing a mascara solution storage section and conveniently protruding and recessing a brush.
BACKGROUND ART FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a conventional mascara container. As shown in FIG. 1, the conventional mascara container comprises a handle 100, a brush 120, a brush bar 110, and a mascara solution storage section 130. In particular, the handle 100, the brush 120, and the brush bar 110 are constructed as one body. The mascara container is a cosmetic tool for dip the brush 120 in the mascara solution and applying the mascara solution to eyelashes. When a user puts on mascara make-up, the user dips the brush 120 in the mascara solution of mascara solution storage section 130, and then takes out the brush 120 from the mascara solution storage section 130. The conventional mascara container has a problem in that the amount of the mascara solution applied on the brush 120 cannot be adjusted. If a large amount of the mascara solution is applied to the brush 120, the mascara solution may be run down from the brush 120. On the other hand, if a small amount of the mascara solution is applied to the brush 120, the user must inconveniently dip the brush 120 in the mascara solution of mascara solution storage section 130 again. In addition, when the user takes out the brush 120 from the mascara solution storage section 130, the mascara solution storage section 130 is exposed to air. Therefore, the mascara solution may be too dried and hardened to use. In addition, the brush of the mascara container must have a "comb" function of uniformly applying the mascara solution to the eyelashes to prevent the mascara-applied hairs of the eyelashes from sticking to each other. As an approach for achieving the comb function of uniformly applying the mascara solution to the eyelashes, a central portion of the brush is made of stiff hairs, and end portions thereof are made of soft hairs. In addition, as an approach for preventing the mascara solution from being applied to only a portion of the eyelashes, the brush is designed to have a shape of oval or trapezoid. However, these approaches cannot completely overcome the aforementioned problems.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Technical Goal of the Invention In order to solve the problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a mascara container capable of uniformly applying a mascara solution to a brush. In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a mascara container capable of prevent a mascara solution from being exposed to air and hardened when a brush is taken out from the mascara container . In addition, still another object of the present invention is to provide a mascara container capable of preventing a mascara solution from being run down during mascara make-up. Disclosure of the Invention In order to achieve the aforementioned objects, according to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a mascara container comprising: a brush bar having a mascara solution storage section formed on a main body thereof and brush attached to an end portion thereof; a handle having grooves formed on an inner surface thereof to be engaged with a portion of the mascara solution storage section of the brush bar; a mascara solution storage section for storing a mascara solution, wherein the brush of the brush bar is disposed in an inner portion of the mascara solution storage section; and a storage section adjusting member disposed between the mascara solution storage section and the handle to adjusting an inner space of the mascara solution storage section, wherein by turning the handle, the brush bar moving screw section formed on the inner portion of the handle moves up and down along the grooves formed on the storage section adjusting member, so that the brush of the brush bar protrudes from or returns to the mascara solution storage section. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a mascara container comprising: a brush bar having a mascara solution storage section formed on a main body thereof and brush attached to an end portion thereof; a handle having grooves formed on an inner surface thereof to be engaged with a portion of the mascara solution storage section of the brush bar; a mascara solution storage section for storing a mascara solution, wherein the brush of the brush bar is disposed in an inner portion of the mascara solution storage section; and a storage section adjusting member disposed between the mascara solution storage section and the handle to adjusting an inner space of the mascara solution storage section, wherein by turning the handle, the brush bar moving screw section formed on the inner portion of the handle moves up and down along the grooves formed on the storage section adjusting member, so that the brush of the brush bar protrudes from or returns to the mascara solution storage section, wherein the mascara container further comprises: an injection hole disposed at an end portion of the mascara solution storage section, so that the brush can protrude from or return to the mascara solution storage section through the injection hole; and a first sealing member disposed at a distal end of the brush to completely seal the injection hole when the brush completely returns to the mascara solution storage section . According to still another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a mascara container comprising: a brush bar having a mascara solution storage section formed on a main body thereof and brush attached to an end portion thereof; a handle having grooves formed on an inner surface thereof to be engaged with a portion of the mascara solution storage section of the brush bar; a mascara solution storage section for storing a mascara solution, wherein the brush of the brush bar is disposed in an inner portion of the mascara solution storage section; and a storage section adjusting member disposed between the mascara solution storage section and the handle to adjusting an inner space of the mascara solution storage section, wherein by turning the handle, the brush bar moving screw section formed on the inner portion of the handle moves up and down along the grooves formed on the storage section adjusting member, so that the brush of the brush bar protrudes from or returns to the mascara solution storage section, wherein the mascara solution storage section further comprises a second sealing member on disposed on an inner surface of the injection hole to seal the injection hole when the brush protrudes from or returns to the injection hole. Effect of the Invention According to the present invention, since the mascara solution storage section can be maintained in a sealed state when the brush protrudes from the main body of the mascara container, it is possible to prevent the mascara solution from being dried and hardened, so that the mascara solution can be used for a long time. In addition, according to the present invention, since the mascara solution is uniformly applied to the brush, the mascara solution can be uniformly transferred to the eyelashes, so that it is possible to solve a conventional problem of mascara-applied hairs of the eyelashes sticking to each other and another conventional problem of a portion of hairs of the eyelashes not being applied with the mascara solution. In addition, according to the present invention, the inner space of the mascara solution storage section can be adjusted depending on a remaining amount of the mascara solution, so that it is possible to prevent the mascara solution from adhering to an inner surface of the mascara solution storage section.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Now, constructions and operations of a mascara container according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detain with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the mascara container according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a plan view of the mascara container of FIG. 2. Referring to FIG. 2, the mascara container comprises a brush bar 234, a handle 240 for fastening the brush bar 234, a mascara solution storage section 210 for storing a mascara solution, a cap 200, and a storage section adjusting member 220 for adjusting an internal space of the mascara solution storage section 210. Now, constructions and operations of the components constituting the mascara container according to the present invention will be described in detail . Firstly, the brush bar 234 comprises a first sealing member 232, a brush 230, and a brush bar moving screw section 236. The brush 230 is attached to one end of the brush bar 234, so that the brush 230 can be inserted into the mascara solution storage section 210. The brush 230 is coated with the mascara solution. As shown in FIG. 2, the brush 230 has a shape of a straight bar. Alternatively, the brush 230 may have a variety of shapes for improving a practicability of the mascara container. The first sealing member 232 is attached to the distal end of the brush 230. When the brush 230 is inserted into the mascara solution storage section 210, the first sealing member 232 completely seals an injection hole of the mascara solution storage section 210. The brush bar moving screw section 236 is constructed as a main body of the brush bar 234. The one portion of the brush bar moving screw section 236 is located within the handle 240, and the other portion thereof is located within the mascara solution storage section 210. The brush bar moving screw section 236 is designed to move along an inner surface of an inner moving section 226 of the storage section adjusting member 220 described below. By turning the handle 240, the brush bar moving screw section 236 moves up and down along the inner moving section 226 of the storage section adjusting member 220, so that the brush 230 attached to the other end of the brush bar 234 can protrude from or return to the mascara solution storage section 210. The mascara solution storage section 210 of the mascara container stores the mascara solution therein and accommodates the brush 230 of the brush bar 234. In addition, the mascara solution storage section 210 has the injection hole 214 at the end thereof, so that the brush bar 234 protrudes from or returns to the mascara solution storage section 210 through the injection hole 214. A second sealing member 212 is provided to an inner surface of the injection hole 214 in order to increase sealing performance of the mascara container. When the brush 230 protrudes from or returns to the mascara solution storage section 210, the second sealing member 212 enables the brush bar 234 to completely seal the injection hole 214. Preferably, the second sealing member 212 is made of a packing material and has a shape of ring. The handle 240 accommodates the brush bar moving screw section 236 therein. The handle 240 serves as a handle for mascara container. The one end of the handle 240 is attached to a main body 221 of the storage section adjusting member 220. When the user turns the handle 240, the brush bar moving screw section 236 disposed in the handle 240 moves up and down along grooves formed on an inner surface of the inner moving section 226 of the storage section adjusting member 220. As a result, the brush 230 attached to the other end of the brush bar 234 moves up and down. As shown in FIG. 5, by turning the handle 240, the brush 230 attached to the mascara solution storage section 210 protrudes from or returns to the mascara solution storage section 210. In addition, the mascara container according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention further comprises the storage section adjusting member 220 for adjusting an inner space of the mascara solution storage section 210. The storage section adjusting member 220 includes the main body 221, the inner moving section 226, and a press valve 222. The main body 221 of the storage section adjusting member 220 is disposed between the mascara solution storage section 210 and the handle 240. The grooves formed on the main body 221 are engaged with the threads formed on the outer surface of the inner moving section 226. In addition, the inner moving section 226 is designed to surround the outer surface of the brush bar 234 corresponding to the inner surface of the main body 221 of the storage section adjusting member 220. The inner moving section 226 has a shape of cylinder. The threads are formed on the outer surface of the cylinder. The threads are engaged with the grooves formed on the inner surface of the main body 221. In addition, grooves are formed on an inner surface of an end portion of the inner moving section 226 contacting the handle 240 to be engaged with brush bar moving screw section 236. Therefore, the brush bar moving screw section 236 can move up and down along the grooves the inner moving section 226. The press valve 222 is disposed at an end portion of the inner moving section 226 of the storage section adjusting member 220 contacting the mascara solution storage section 210. The press valve 222 has a function of preventing the mascara solution from leaking out from the mascara solution storage section 210. When the inner moving section 226 engaged with the main body 221 of the storage section adjusting member 220 moves up and down by turning the main body 221 of the storage section adjusting member 220, the press valve 222 disposed at the end portion of the inner moving section 226 also moves up and down. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, when the user turns the main body 221, the press valve 222 can be moved up and down in the mascara solution storage section 210, so that the inner space of the mascara solution storage section 210 can be widened or shortened. In a case where there is a small amount of the mascara solution in the mascara solution storage section 210, the inner space is shorted by moving the press valve 222, so that it is possible to uniformly apply the mascara solution to the brush 230. In addition, it is possible to prevent the mascara solution from adhering to the inner surface of the mascara solution storage section 210. Now, constructions and operations of a mascara container according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described. As shown in FIG. 7, the mascara container according the embodiment further comprises an 0-ring 239 between the press valve 222 and the main body 221 of the mascara solution storage section 210. Grooves are formed on an inner surface of the O-ring to be engaged with the brush bar moving screw section 236. Therefore, by turning the handle 240, the brush bar moving screw section 236 moves up and down together with the O-ring engaged therewith, so that it is possible to prevent the mascara solution adhered on the brush bar moving screw section 236 from leaking out into the handle 240 and the storage section adjusting member 220. Now, constructions and operations of a mascara container according to still another embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the embodiment, a third sealing member is disposed at an end portion of the handle 240 contacting an end portion of the mascara solution storage section 210. The third sealing member may be made of a packing rubber having a shape of ring. The third sealing member has a function of preventing the mascara solution from leaking out from the mascara solution storage section 210 into the storage section adjusting member 220. While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims. The exemplary embodiments should be considered in descriptive sense only and not for purposes of limitation. For example, in the embodiments, the shape of the brush, and the material and shape of the first and second sealing members can be modified for convenience of usage. Therefore, the scope of the invention is defined not by the detailed description of the invention but by the appended claims, and all differences within the scope will be construed as being included in the present invention.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY A mascara container according to the present invention can be used for a variety of applications for storing and using a cosmetic solution or other solutions.

Claims

1. A mascara container comprising: a brush bar having a mascara solution storage section formed on a main body thereof and brush attached to an end portion thereof; a handle having grooves formed on an inner surface thereof to be engaged with a portion of the mascara solution storage section of the brush bar; a mascara solution storage section for storing a mascara solution, wherein the brush of the brush bar is disposed in an inner portion of the mascara solution storage section; and a storage section adjusting member disposed between the mascara solution storage section and the handle to adjusting an inner space of the mascara solution storage section, wherein by turning the handle, the brush bar moving screw section formed on the inner portion of the handle moves up and down along the grooves formed on the storage section adjusting member, so that the brush of the brush bar protrudes from or returns to the mascara solution storage section.
2. The mascara container according to claim 1, wherein the storage section adjusting member comprises: a main body disposed between the handle and the mascara solution storage section; and an inner moving section having grooves formed on an inner surface of an end portion thereof to be engaged with the brush bar moving screw section and threads formed on an outer surface thereof to be engaged with the main body, thereby adjusting an inner space of the mascara solution storage section.
3. The mascara container according to claim 2, wherein the storage section adjusting member further comprises a press value at an end portion thereof contacting the mascara solution storage section, and wherein the press valve moves up and down by turning the storage section adjusting member.
4. The mascara container according to any one of claims 1 to 3, further comprising: an injection hole disposed at an end portion of the mascara solution storage section, so that the brush can protrude from or return to the mascara solution storage section through the injection hole; and a first sealing member disposed at a distal end of the brush to completely seal the injection hole when the brush completely returns to the mascara solution storage section .
5. The mascara container according to claim 4, wherein the mascara solution storage section 210 further comprises a second sealing member on disposed on an inner surface of the injection hole to seal the injection hole when the brush protrudes from or returns to the injection hole.
6. The mascara container according to any one of claims 1 to 3, further comprising a cap for covering an end portion of the mascara solution storage section.
7. The mascara container according to claim 2 or 3, wherein the storage section adjusting member further comprises an 0-ring, and wherein grooves are formed on an inner surface of the 0-ring to be engaged with the brush bar moving screw section .
