Abstract

The invention relates to a therapeutic instrument for treating tumours (6), comprising a base body (3) which comprises at least one first electrode (1; 2). The invention is characterised in that the base body (3) is hollow and at least one opening (4a, 4b) is arranged in the wall thereof and the at least one electrode (1,2) can be guided therethrough from the outside. The invention also relates to an arrangement for treating tumours (6), comprising at least one current source (7) and at least one electrode (8), by which means current can be conducted into and out of the tumour (6). The invention is also characterised in that the electrode (8) is embodied as a therapeutic instrument according to claims 1 to 3.

Description

Therapeutic instrument and arrangement for treatment of tumors

The invention relates to a therapeutic instrument according to the preamble of claim 1 for the treatment of tumors, comprising a base body having at least one electrode. Furthermore, the invention provides an apparatus for treating tumors according to the preamble of claim 4, having at least one power source and at least one electrode, by means of which current can be introduced into the tumor or ausleitbar relates.
