Description

Description GLOBAL SMS/MMS SYSTEM SUPPORTING MUL- TILANGUAGE Technical Field
[1] This invention is Global SMS (Short Message System) / MMS (Multimedia Message System) Internet Transportation System supporting English, Korean, Jananese, and Chinese; It is characteristic of this system that foreign cellular phones are able to receive the SMS/MMS which are sent from domestic cellular phones, and domestic cellular phones are able to receive the SMS MMS which are sent from foreign cellular phones through switching server is introduced the XML web service concept in real time. Also, this system support that mobile application make cellular phone which can not use domestic language support input/output domestic language.
[2] This invention includes; supporting global SMS/MMS sending, receiving with downloadable application which is developed to communicate with switching server, making foreign cellular phones which are unable to use Korean language support input, output UNICODE Korean language with application, making cellular phones which are unable to use Japanese, Chinese language support input, output Japanese, Chinese language with application, supporting XML web service which is developed to communicate with switching server for usability. Background Art
[3] This invention is about system and methods supporting English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese with extending SMS and MMS from domestic to global. In detail, This is about system and methods which make cellular phone not supporting each language support necessary language by downloadable application.
[4] Generally, There are several ways which can transport data with mobile terminal; SMS(Short Message Service) is possible on every cellular phone and very easy to use. Application developed by suitable program language on cellular phone which is embedded by mobile internet platform can transport data with WAP gateway or TCP transportation.
[5] The advantage of messaging service is always ready state of cellular phone in comparison with mobile internet application. That is, sender can send data whenever he wants to access, receiver can receive data almost on real time. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem [6] There are some carriers which try global messaging service in the world, but it is problem that general users of Korean Japan, China which are non-English speaking country and using cellular phone rate is cuite high have difficulty in understanding English messages from relatives or friends in English speaking country. Technical Solution
[7] To solve those problems, the purpose of this invention is supporting system which make Korean, Japanese, and Chinese people in English speaking country or all country using cellular phone use their own language easily with mobile downloadable application. Advantageous Effects
[8] This invention has effectiveness which makes possible global SMS/MMS system supporting English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese language. Also, this invention solves the problem that existing Korean SMS/MMS system and cellularphone can use only 2350 Korean characters with UNICODE based system. Consequently, celluarphones which uses this invention can transport and express the all Korean characters which is possible to express on PC(Personal Computer). Description of Drawings
[9] Figure 1 is constitutional figure of which global SMS/MMS transportation system supporting Korean language by this invention.
[10] Figure 2 is application scenario which is developed to communicate with switching server supporting Korean language by this invention. Best Mode
[11] Mode for Invention
[12] To achieve this goal, it is characteristic of this invention that; supporting Korean, Japanese, Chinese on cellular phone in English speaking country, mobile downloadable application which connect with server transports global messages.
[13] This is explanation about desirable example bt this invention with attached pictures.
[14] Figure 1 is diagraming for SMS transportation system between Korea and English speaking country for example. User in Korea downloads mobile sending application 110) or starts embedded application 110) with cellular phone(lOO) and inputs Korean message and receiver phonenumber including other's country number, which country is English speaking country.
[15] Switching server (120) decides by country code and switches and transforms code. That is, Korean cellular phones support Koran completed code so messages from North America to Korea have to be transformed from UNICODE to completed code. Also, in case of inverse direction, and messages have to be transformed from completed code to UNICODE.
[16] After switching work(130), It sends data to a SMS gateway of objective country(140). Gateway sends SMS to a objective cellularphone(150). The cel- lularphone(150) cannot use Korean language, it alrealy has to be installed special application 160, 170) for using Koran language. The Receiving application 160) of the objective cellularphone(150) outputs message in Korean language.
[17] The Receiver of objective country writes message in Korean language and inputs receiver phonenumber including Korean country code and chooses send function with sending application 170) on the phone(150). The application 170) connects the switching server(120) and sends data. The switching server(120) decides way by country code and does switching work and code transform(130) and sends data to Korean SMS gateway(180).
[18] The gateway(180) sends SMS to the cellularphone(lOO). The user in Korea can see the Korean message from the English speaking country with his own cel- lularphone(lOO).
[19] Figure 2 is a diagraming application scenario which sends and receives SMS between Korean user and North American user. (200) A user in Korea starts a sending application on a cellularphone and writes message in Korean language. (210) He She inputs receiver phonenumber including North American country code. (220) The sending application sends data consisted by message and phonenumber to a switching server. The switching server switches data by country code and sends SMS to objective cellularphone through a SMS gateway of the objective country. Of course, North American cellularphone does not support Korean language basically.
[20] (230) The North American cellularphone receives SMS and a receiving application ouputs Korean message. (300) The user in North America starts sending application and writes message in Korean language. (310) He She inputs receiver phonenumber including Korean country code. (320) The sending application sends data consisted of message and phonenumber to the switching server, and the server switches data by country code and sends SMS to the user on Korea through Korean SMS gateway. (330) He She can see Korean message from North America on his/her phone.
[21] There are several mobile internet platforms for developing data transporting application in Korea; SK-VM of SKT, BREW(Binary Run-time Environment for Wireless)of Qualcomm which is adopted by KTF. WIPI(Wireless Internet Hatform for Interoperability) of KWISF(Korea Wireless Internet Standard Forum) which is adopted by 3 carriers.
[22] Nokia or Motorola cellularphone is mainly used at North America and Europe, China. So it can be used J2ME(Java 2 platform MicroEdition) of Sun Microsystems and I-mode or J-Phone is used at Japan. However, in fact, it is three kinds of platform because except BREW and WIPI, other platforms support J2ME.
[23] Domestic users can download mobile internet application merely for sending message, and users in objective country which doesn't use domestic language can download sending and receiving applications which support domestic language Industrial Applicability
