Abstract

The invention relates to a process for detecting errors inherent in a technical system, in particular in software, preferably in control software, and/or for determining a preferred release date for this system. The invention is to solve the problem of optimizing the aforementioned process. In accordance with the invention, this problem has been solved in that the number of errors, which have been detected over time when the system was tested, is described and predicted by means of a model function.
