Definitions
- the invention relates to a holding device for nail polish bottles or the like.
- the document DE 78 02 416 U1 describes a holder for nail polish bottles which has a base plate with at least three resilient tongues for receiving a nail polish bottle and a support with a support surface for the finger of the nail to be painted. This means that the finger can be firmly placed and painted in the immediate vicinity of the nail polish bottle.
- the proposed holder requires a stable footprint and is impractical to transport because of its size, so that it will usually only be used at a fixed location.
- the invention as characterized in the claims, has for its object to provide a small and light holding device for nail polish bottles or the like, which reliably prevents spilling of nail polish liquid when painting fingernails or toenails. This object is achieved by the holding device according to claim 1 or claim 4. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the subclaims.
- a holding device for nail polish bottles or the like comprises two ring arches for clamping the holding device between two fingers of one hand, and a receiving device arranged between the ring arches for receiving a nail polish bottle.
- the receiving device is connected to the two ring arches in an oscillating manner.
- An arc is understood to mean a part of a circular ring which preferably has a central angle of approximately 60 ° to approximately 120 ° and in particular essentially represents a half ring with a central angle of approximately 90 °.
- the invention in the first aspect is therefore based on the idea of attaching the nail polish bottle to the hand with the fingernails to be painted, in a freely swinging manner.
- the holding device with the bottle of nail polish is held securely by the pressure exerted on the ring arches with both fingers.
- the oscillating connection of the receiving device with the ring arches ensures that the bottle of nail polish in the receiving device hangs vertically downwards even when the hand is strongly tilted. It goes without saying that the nail polish bottle clamped between two fingers can also be used without problems for painting the toenails.
- the receiving device is connected to the two ring arches via two connecting pins.
- the connecting pins are provided with small balls at their ends, which are inserted through two holes in the ring arches. This ensures that the receiving device can be freely pivoted in all directions in a simple manner.
- the receiving device is connected to the two ring arches by a screw and a union nut. The screw and the union nut are each inserted through a hole in the ring arches and screwed together.
- a holding device for nail polish bottles or the like comprises a closable band for fixing the holder device to a wrist or ankle, and a receiving device fastened to the band for receiving a nail polish bottle.
- the receiving device is swingably attached to the belt.
- This aspect of the invention is also based on the basic idea of attaching the nail varnish bottle in a free-floating manner in the immediate vicinity of the nails to be painted.
- the tape can be tied around a wrist to paint the fingernails or around an ankle to paint the toenails.
- the band is expediently provided with a Velcro fastener or another detachable fastener.
- the band is preferably designed to be elastic.
- the holding device with the nail polish bottle is also securely held in this aspect of the invention.
- the oscillating connection of the receiving device with the band again ensures the vertical stability of the nail polish bottle, so that accidental spillage of liquid during painting is practically impossible.
- the band has a flexible reinforcement to which the receiving device is attached.
- the flexible reinforcement can be formed, for example, by a flexible plastic film or a flexible plastic plate.
- the receiving device is fastened to the belt via a connecting pin.
- the connecting pin is advantageously provided with a small ball at its end, which is inserted through an associated bore in the reinforcement and thus forms a ball joint which can be pivoted in all directions.
- the receiving device has a ring element with an internal thread, into which the bottle neck of a bottle of nail polish or the like can be screwed.
- the ring element preferably tapers conically and thus enables vials with different bottle neck diameters to be screwed in.
- the receiving device can have a spring element into which the bottle neck of a nail polish bottle or the like can be clamped.
- the receiving device is advantageously screwed, glued or soldered to the connecting pin (s) or the union nut.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic representation of a holding device for nail varnish bottles according to a first embodiment of the invention in an exploded view, 2 shows the assembled holding device from FIG. 1,
- FIG. 3 shows a holding device for nail polish bottles according to another embodiment of the invention before the individual parts are joined together
- FIG. 4 shows a schematic representation of a holding device for nail polish bottles according to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention before the band and the receiving device are joined together, and
- FIG. 5 shows the assembled and closed holding device from FIG. 4
- FIG. 1 shows the holding device 10 in an exploded view
- FIG. 2 shows the holding device assembled and ready for use.
- the holding device 10 comprises two half rings 12 made of plastic or metal, which are connected to a conical ring element 16 via two connecting pins 14.
- the connecting pins 14 are each provided with a small ball 18 at their end, with which they are received in a corresponding bore 20 in the half rings 12 (FIG. 2) and thus form a ball joint for the ring element 16.
- the conical ring element 16 has an internal thread 22, only indicated in FIG. 1, into which the bottle neck of a bottle of nail polish 24 can be screwed. Due to the conically tapering shape of the ring element 16, a large number of vials with different bottle neck diameters can be accommodated, the external threads of which each engage the internal thread 22 at a certain height.
- the holding device 10 is clamped with its half rings 12 between two fingers of one hand after the opened nail polish bottle 24 has been screwed into the ring element 16. With the other hand, the fingernails of the holding hand or toenails can easily be painted.
- the pivotable connection of the ring element 16 with the half rings 12 via the ball joints 14, 18 and the dead weight of the nail polish bottle 24 ensures that the bottle hangs vertically downwards even when the hand is strongly tilted, so that there is no risk of spilling nail polish liquid.
- FIG. 3 An alternative design of a holding device 50 is shown in FIG. 3 in the not yet assembled state.
- the holding device 50 contains two half rings 52 which are connected to one another in an oscillating manner by means of a screw 54 and a union nut 56.
- the receiving device is formed by a spring element 58 in the manner of a bolt lock known from model making, into which the bottle neck of a bottle of nail polish can be clamped.
- the spring element 58 can be fastened to the union nut 56 by screwing, gluing or soldering.
- FIG. 4 and 5 show a further embodiment of the invention.
- the holding device 30 has an elastic band 32 with a reinforcement 34 made of flexible plastic and attached in the middle.
- the receiving device for nail polish bottles 24 is formed by a conically tapering ring element 36 which is fastened to the reinforcement 34 of the band 32 via a connecting pin 40 provided with a small ball 38.
- the plastic reinforcement 34 has a small hole 42 in which the ball 38 of the connecting pin 40 is received.
- a Velcro fastener 44 is provided for fastening the elastic band to the wrist or ankle.
- FIG. 5 shows the fully assembled and closed holding device 30, such as is tied to a wrist or ankle.
- the nail polish bottle 24 is screwed into an internal thread, not shown in the figures, of the ring element 36. Both hands are then free and the nail polish is close to work.
- the freely pivotable suspension of the nail polish bottle on the band 32 keeps it stable in an essentially vertical position, so that here too the risk of spilling nail polish liquid is minimized.
