Abstract

Described is a pack (10) for containing an edible product in pieces such as, for example, coated sweets, pastilles, tablets or the like. The pack comprises a box-shaped container body (12) having an opening (28) providing an outlet for the passage of the product, a lid (14) and means for connecting the lid to the container body which enable the lid to move between an open position allowing the product to come out, and a closed position in which the opening (28) in the container body is closed. Retaining means are also provided for keeping the lid in the position in which the opening (28) in the container body is closed. The retaining means (12) comprise engagement means on the container body and engagement means on the lid. Advantageously, the engagement means on the lid consist of a single retaining tab (40).
