Abstract

A support is fabricated to include at least one flexible molded wood flake spring which is integrally formed and can flex independently from the support. The spring so-formed can be used in molding seating elements, such as seats and seat backs, which may include a plurality of spaced-apart flexible molded wood flake springs. A molded wood flake spring may integrally include a frame member and one or more flexible springs extending at an angle from the frame member.
