Abstract

The invention is directed to a text/price cassette with a base plate (10) from whose front side project two longitudinal bars (12, 14) having guide grooves (13, 15) formed therein, which receive slidably therein a rectangular and partly transparent slider (40) with a transparent panel (42) having on its rear side one viewing compartment (45) bounded by transverse bars for the exchangeable accommodation of text/price tags. The slider being designed to be inserted and withdrawn from one transverse side of the base plate (10). The slider (40, 60) is equipped with tongues (46, 48) on its longitudinal sides in the extension of the transparent panel (42) and on just part of its thickness. The guide grooves (13, 15) in the longitudinal bars (12, 14) are arranged at a distance (A) to the front side of the base plate (10) and are constructed such that the slider (40) makes contact with the base plate (10) only with its tongues (46, 48) in the guide grooves (13, 15).
