AUTOTANSPORTER
The invention refers to an autotransporter designed for the transportation of another autotransporter that can perform the sajrie function or not. Autotransporters made of one head tractor and a saddle where a trail can be coupled are well known, and the saddle and the trail are equipped each with a folding platform, which can be lifted at one end in the movement direction and maintained in this position during the transportation of an veliicle with front and back rolling systems each containing a coupled axle - invention patent letter no. US 2002/0053781 Al published in 09.05.2002. The disadvantage of this autotransporter$, consist in the fact that the presented., construction cannot carry another one with the same design without exceeding the , maximal legal weight admitted on axis and the length. The technical problem that the invention solves consists in the realisation of .a \ construction that assures the load arid transporf ation of an autotransporter by another one with an identical design without exceeding the total weight admitted and with u exceeding the maximum weight admitted on each rolling system and accepted dimensions regarding the length and the height of the transporting autotransporter together with the one that is transported. The autotransporter, according to the invention, solves the technical problem and outruns the disadvantages shown before by the fact that it has another method of loading, fixing and anchoring by devices for loading, guidance and anchoring named in shortly yokes. The yoke (picture 1 ) is composed from a metallic frame (1 ), 4 rolls (2), 2 fixing ears (3), rolls support (4) and 4 pins for the rolls (5) in order to be drawn by a . crane winch, having the role of lifting, placing and blocking the vehicle axis wheels. The metallic frame (1 ) is manufactured from light materials but with enhanced resistance. The guidance rolls (2) are usual ones, used to the actual vehicle autotransporters for the superior platforms guidance, having the role of moving and guide the yoke loaded with an axis of an vehicle that is to be transported, the yoke is guided in/on the chassis. The fixing ears (3) have the role of fixing element of the cable of the crane . winch for moving and drawing into the saddle guidance of the yoke. The rolls support (4) has the role that together with the pins (5) to fix the rolls on the metallic frame ( 1 ). For the loading of a vehicle 2 yokes are needed. The yoke fulfils the following; functions: - replacing the rolling way from the autotransporters because anyway a vehicle stands only on 4 points - to lift an axis from the vehicle - to fix the wheels of one axis of the vehicle - the movement in specially Jesigned guidance devices
The head tractor is a classic one, standard on which a saddle-coupling device is mounted. The saddle (picture 2) is a special construction, made from light materials with enhanced resistance, having 2 central lonjerons (1 and 2) representing the actual chassis of the saddle and 2 lateral corner shaped sticks (3 and 4), having the role of guiding the yokes, fixed on the chassis ( 1 and 2) by many assembling mechanisms (5), many intermediary traverses (6), a tandem axis (7), 2 coupling pivots (8) and 2 lateral frames for protection (9). The saddle is designed with 2 telescopic mechanical feet' (10) for saddle support when it is decupled from the head tractor. In the front side is a sliding frame (1 1 ), having the role of increasing the load surface and fixing the yoke. In the backside is another sliding frame (12) with the fixing with a traverse (13), on which signalling devices are mounted (14), allowing the increase of the loading surface. On the saddle is attached a winch crane with cable (15) working on power or mechanically, having the role of pulling the yokes on the on the exterior guidance device from the chassis. This principle, with yokes and superstructure with the possibility of guiding the yokes, can be applied to any kind of trail, regardless the manufacturer or the weight of the loading or the number of loaded vehicles using this system, having the possibility of attaching hydraulic lifting systems for loaded yokes, in order to increase the loading capacity. Equipping the autotransporter head tractor with the saddle The minimum equipment of the autotransporter is with 6 yokes, 2 lifting guidance device (16), 10-12 claw coupling and girths for anchoring the wheels on the yoke. The lifting guidance device is a U shaped profile, which can be fixed on the end of the back frame (12), allowing the lifting and the yoke rolls guidance in the saddle chassis. The truck (picture 4), is a classic one, standard, with a simple or double cabin, designed with trail device, on which chassis is mounted a special designed superstructure, made of light materials with enhanced resistance, having 2 central lonjerons (1 and 2), fixed in the front side with traverse (3) on which the winch crane is mounted (4) with cable operated by power or mechanically having the role of pulling the yokes on the central lonjerons (1 and 2). In the backside is mounted a sliding frame (5) allowing the increase of the loading surface of the structure. On the laterals of the superstructure 4 protection lateral frames are mounted
(8). This principle, with yokes and superstructure with the possibility of guiding the yokes, can be applied to any kind of trail, regardless the manufacturer or the weight of the loading or the number of loaded vehicles using this system, having the
possibility of attaching hydraulic lifting systems for loaded yoXes, in order to increase the loading capacity. Truck equipment (the autotransporter) The equipment of the truck is with minimum 2 yokes, 2 lifting guidance devices (picture 16, picture 5), 4 claw coupling and girths for anchoring the wheels on the yoke. The lifting guidance device is a U shaped profile, which can be fixed on the end of the back frame (11), allowing the lifting and the yoke rolls guidance in the saddle chassis. The truck preparing for loading consists in fixing the 2 lifting guidance devices (picture 16, position 2) on the sliding frame (5) and the rolls from a yoke are fixed on the 2 lifting guidance devices (picture 16, position 2). The vehicle to be loaded goes forward to the truck until the front wheels reach into the yoke. The vehicle wheels are anchored in the yoke, the traction cable of the winch crane is fixed in the 2 fixing ears of the yoke and the pulling with the winch crane is started, the yoke is lifted first on the guidance device (picture 16, position 2) on the sliding frame (5) of the truck and slides the truck superstructure lonjerons, (1 and 2). It is pulled about 2,0 m, after which the second yoke is set in front of the \ guidance device. The winch crane is stopped and the back wheels are anchored. The winch crane is operated until the vehicle is loaded. The 2 yokes are blocked on the superstructure lonjerons (1 and 2) with bolts fixing system. The extension of the sliding frame (position 5) is done only if it is necessary. For each see picture 6. The trail (picture 5) is a special construction made of light materials, with enhanced resistance, having 2 lonjerons (1 and 2), on which 2 lateral corner shaped sticks (3 and 4) are fixed on the chassis by many fixing elements (5), many intermediary traverse (6), a tandem axis (7), a telescopic pole (8), with trail coupling device. In the front part is a sliding frame (10), having the role of increasing the loading surface and yoke fixing. In the backside is another sliding frame (11), fixed with a traverse (12) on which trail signalling elements are mounted, allowing the increase of the lading surface. On the first traverse of the trail a winch crane is mounted (13) with cable manually operated. Trail equipment The equipment of the trail is with minimum 4 yokes, 2 lifting guidance devices (picture 16, position 2) for yokes, 4 claw coupling and girths for anchoring the wheels on the yoke.
The lifting guidance device is a U shaped profile, whicR'can be fixed on the end of the back frame (11), allowing the lifting and the yoke rolls guidance in the saddle chassis. The preparing of a trail coupled to a tractor vehicle for loading consists in the fixing of the 2 lifting guidance devices (picture 16, position 2) on the back sliding frame (picture 11, position 6) and the rolls of the yoke are fixed in the 2 lifting guidance devices (picture 16, position 2). The vehicle to be loaded goes forward to the trail until the front wheels reach into the yoke. The vehicle wheels are anchored in the yoke, the traction cable of the winch crane is fixed in the 2 fixing ears of the yoke and the pulling with the winch crane is started, the yoke is lifted first on the guidance device (picture 16, position 4)
