Definitions
- the technical solution involves a transportation container, especially for swimming-pool roofs.
- swimming-pool roofs are produced and delivered as an assembled ,and finished unit, which especially means the need of complete mounting in the place of production. Another disadvantage is the need of large production and storage rooms. The high costs of transportation and intermediate storage are another significant disadvantage.
- the current solution does not allow delivery for retail outlets, such as supermarkets, and mail-order delivery.
- a transportation container especially for swimming-pool roofs, based on this technical solution.
- Its nature is that it comprises at least two boxes, with fitted internal accessories shaped for specific roofing parts; the boxes are connected to form a compact whole.
- the boxes are fitted with internal accessories in the shape of various insets, partitions, bridges and the like and connected to form a compact unit using a tape.
- the boxes can be placed and connected to the transportation pallet, with identical external dimensions in the beneficial arrangement.
- the boxes are beneficially fitted with a list of inserted parts and/or instructions for assembly and are beneficially made from a recyclable and/or recycled material.
- the boxes can be fitted with armoring to prevent any damage to the content .
- the transportation container therefore comprises individual boxes, whose number and size is determined by the option of the selected roof.
- Each box is only produced for a specific part of the roof and has internal accessories inside in the form of insets, partitions and bridges, which are shaped so the required part could fit in them tightly. This ensures that there is not a similar or any other part in the box.
- the benefit of this solution is the possibility to conduct a fast and accurate visual inspection of the content, because a missing part is indicated by an empty slot, while it is not possible to insert the given part twice because it cannot be fitted anywhere else.
- These filled boxes are placed next to each other, or above each other; beneficially they have identical external dimensions. The boxes are then secured against mutual shifts using an adhesive paste and fastened with a belt, which will create a compact unit, in which the roof can be shipped.
- the transportation container under this technical solution allows delivering roofs in a dismounted condition. Since the final mounting can be carried out by the customer, it is possible to make a lower price of the product, because the costs of production are also lower. Lower transportation and storage costs are a significant advantage - 1 or 2 roofs could be carried on one truck so far, while in these boxes it is possible to carry 12 to 16 roofs. It is possible to carry as many as 24 roofs on a EURO tractor.
- the transportation container allows production and packaging of just a certain part of the roof, in a larger series, for example for stock, as possible and as needed by the manufacturer.
- the advantage of this technical solution is that it is possible to handle the whole container or just individual boxes; in that case the packaged roof can be for example loaded by only two persons, which is otherwise impossible with the use of a forklift truck. Since the whole container is made of a recyclable and recycled material, the use of such materials is environmentally friendly. The weight of the whole container is minimum, for example a wooden box would be three times as heavy and would not be so firm. Taking into account the given arrangement, packaging is simple and fast. Another advantage of this container is also its appearance, which is good, and it is possible to change the overall appearance simply and at low expense.
- the transportation container under this technical solution has, as a whole, very good mechanical and firmness attributes, is rigid and can be stacked. If the container is complemented with a pallet without any modifications, it is possible to use ordinary equipment for its handling. Even if complemented with a pallet, it is possible to separate the container from the pallet easily at a certain stage of transportation and to handle individual boxes separately, without the need of their infringement, for instance to load them manually, take them away and stack them after purchase in a supermarket or at a local dealer.
- the container's structure, along with the instructions for assembly, ensure that the customers unwrap and assemble it correctly.
- the price of the container is very low, under 3% of the product's price, while any other option would be at least twice as expensive.
- the tapes allow combining boxes into a compact unit and, if needed, it is possible to dissect them easily. If needed, for example during long-distance transportation in cars on dirt roads, it is possible to fit the boxes with armoring to prevent any damage to the content.
- the mentioned solution thus allows to deliver roofs abroad subject to lower transportation costs. Another advantage is the possibility to deliver roofs for the retail industry, subject to minimizing the demands on storage rooms.
- the technical solution also allows delivering the dismounted roofs to end users and ensuring a specific system of unwrapping and storing the product. During the packaging of the dismounted roof, a product completeness monitoring system is secured.
- the shown transportation container for swimming-pool roofs comprises six boxes 1, fitted with internal accessories in the shape of inserts, partitions and bridges, shaped for specific roof parts.
- the boxes 1 When the boxes 1 are filled and closed, they are connected to form a compact unit and their external dimensions are identical.
- the boxes 1 are connected to form a compact unit using a tape 2, with adhesive paste between them to prevent their mutual shifts.
- the boxes 1 are placed and connected to the transportation pallet 3 and the taping can be carried out before placing on the pallet 3 or including the pallet 3.
- Individual boxes 1 are fitted with a list of inserted parts and instructions for assembly 4.
- the boxes 1 are made from a recyclable and recycled material, cardboard, or laminated polypropylene tube board or a similar packaging material.
- the sides of the boxes 1 are fitted with handles, cut out, perforated, glued or riveted.
- the solution allows packing most types of roofs, so the total container dimensions range between 3 and 8 meters.
- the width and height grow depending on the length.
- the weight of the empty container ranges between 30 and 160 kg, depending on the used material, dimensions and design.
- the whole container, or individual boxes 1 is protected against weather influences with a plastic foil.
- the transportation container under this technical solution can be used especially for storage, transportation and sale of swimming-pool roofs.
