Abstract
Cette invention se rapporte à des machines de sondage de fond équipées d'un moteur électrique et utilisées pour forer des puits profonds pour l'exploitation de pétrole et de gaz. La foreuse électrique de cette invention comprend un trépan servant à briser la roche, une broche (palier de butée servant à transmettre une force axiale au trépan), un moteur électrique à courant continu équipé d'un commutateur à thyristors et d'un fil conducteur de courant qui connecte une source d'énergie située sur la surface du sol au moteur électrique. Les électrodes de commande des thyristors du commutateur sont reliées aux circuits de sortie d'un transmetteur de position de rotor. Le circuit d'entrée du transmetteur de position de rotor est alimenté par une source de tension alternative haute fréquence (environ 10 kHz) qui est branchée à l'extrémité supérieure du fil conducteur d'électricité situé sur la surface du sol, l'extrémité inférieure dudit fil conducteur d'électricité étant connectée au circuit d'entrée du transmetteur de position de rotor au moyen d'un filtre électrique comportant au moins un condensateur. Dans une deuxième variante de cette invention, le circuit d'entrée du transmetteur de position de rotor est branché à l'extrémité inférieure dudit fil conducteur d'électricité au moyen d'un circuit servant à maintenir une tension constante. La foreuse électrique de cette invention présentant les caractéristiques susmentionnées peut également comprendre un fil conducteur de courant à base d'un câble monoconducteur et de connecteurs à fiches à un seul contact, ce qui permet d'accroître la fiabilité de cette foreuse par rapport aux foreuses électriques existantes qui comprennent des connecteurs à fiches à deux ou trois contacts.
