In view of these figures, it can be seen how the electric pulse emitting device that is recommended is structured by a battery connector (1) that carries positive and negative energy through a positive current cable (2) and a current cable negative (3), to an electronic circuit (3) which is constituted by a switch (4) which energizes the circuit (5) with a voltage equal to 9 VOLTS through a battery (6) in common use, the Integrated circuit (7) is known as 2 timers or "dual timer" (for its acronym in English). Rl functions as a current limiter for IC; R2, R3 and Cl are part of the first timer "timer 1". R5, R6 and C4 are part of the second timer "timer 2", R4 and C3 form the trigger circuit "trigger" for its second timer "timer 2", R7 polarizes the base of transistor Q, C2 it serves as a noise eliminator in leg 11 of IC, R8 and R9 together form a voltage divider which controls the amplitude of the pulse applied to electrodes Jl and J2, in addition R9 functions as a current limiter to adjust the pulse amplitude with a maximum of 200 volts with a duration of 2 ms (milliseconds) and an overload of no more than 10 ma (milli amps).
As already mentioned, circuit (5) is formed by 2 "dual timer" timers connected to each other sequentially, that is, at the end of the first cycle of timer 1 "timerl" begins the other. The first timer "timer 1" is a typical application of a stable "astable" circuit by its acronym in English, where the on and off times are controlled by R2, R3 and Cl. When closing S the circuit is energized and begins to Cl is loaded by means of R2 and R3, at this time the output (leg 5 of the IC) is going to a high level approximately equal to B. The capacitor Cl will be exposed exponentially until reaching 2/3 of B, now the discharge leg ( discharge of IC is grounded and Cl is discharged by R3 and leg 5 of IC goes to a low level, when the discharge of Cl reaches one third (1/3) of B, leg 1 of IC is open and repeat the charge cycle through R2, R3 and Cl, when reaching 2/3 of B the repeat cycle is repeated, While the circuit remains energized this timer 1 "timer 1" will be oscillating at a frequency of approximately 2 Hz (hertz).
When leg 8 of the "trigger" trigger receives the trigger pulse the circuit comprised by R5, R6 and C4 begins the charge cycle of C4 and in the same way when the voltage in leg 12 (threshold) reaches 2/3 of B, leg 13 of discharge IC will be grounded, causing capacitor C4 to discharge through R6.
These cycles will be repeated until another trigger pulse is received (leg 8 of IC), since this timer2 "timer2" is controlled by the first timer "timer 1", then the operating cycle will be approximately every 0.5 seconds the same at 2 hertz. (sec. = 2Hz.) The output of timer 2 "timer2", leg 9 of IC will be pulsing at a frequency of 2Hz (2 cycles per second). These pulses are applied to the transistor Q, this transistor in turn drives or controls the primary of the transformer T. Pulses of similar period (leg 9 of IC ping) will be applied to the primary of the transformer T which depending on the turn ratio (n2 : nl) the pulses will be transformed into the secondary. If the number of turns in the secondary is greater than the primary, the pulses will be amplified in the secondary as many times as the primary (n2 / nl).
The repetition period will be approximately 0.5 seconds or 2 Hz. Diode D will rectify the pulses in the secondary and these will charge to C6. R8 and R9 will function as a voltage divider to control the amplitude of the pulses applied to the electrodes Jl and J2, approximately the control will be 50% to 100% of the pulse amphmd through D, R9 in addition to being part of the Voltage divider will also serve as a current limiter that goes to electrodes Jl and J2. The effect as a limiter or potentiometer (14) increases the number of pulses if the adjustment is to the right and is null if it is completely to the left, then the effect is proportional to the position of the adjustment.
