Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft die Bereitstellung von elektrischer Energie bzw. mechanischer Energie im untertägigen Bergbau. Die der Erfindung zu Grunde liegende Aufgabe, sowohl für stationäre als auch mobile Anwendungen im untertägigen Bergbau eine kostengünstige Energiequelle bereitzustellen, wird dadurch gelöst, dass ein Brennstoffzellensystem als Energie- bzw. Stromquelle für elektrische Antriebe im untertägigen Bergbau verwendet wird. Vorzugsweise ist das Brennstoffzellensystem (1) modular aufgebaut und umfasst ein Brennstoffzellenmodul (2) und eine Speichereinheit (3) für Brennstoff.
