They are placed close to the bottom of the combustion appliance or under charcoal in a grill.   • the strong heat makes that surrounding fuel 6, 6a, 6b catches fire rapidly and burns properly, so that larger pieces of wood may be put on and a hot fire is attained in considerably shorter time than by conventional methods.
  • the entire fire will more rapidly attain the optimal temperature that is required for a more complete combustion, and thereby the emissions of uncombusted hydrocarbons and other harmful gases will decrease.
  • the materials used in the above-described material combinations are relatively inexpensive, since they consist of commonly occurring qualities of paper, plastic coated paper and/or film of polyethylene, which all readily may be cut to slender strips in thickness and width that presents the best yield.

This is of importance in camping, expeditions, etc., when there is little space available.

Abstract

Föreliggande uppfinning omfattar en brännbar, för engångsbruk avsedd, materialansamling (1) i form av en tänd-remsa (10), anpassad att i ett icke kompakterat tillstånd kunna erbjuda, efter en antändning, en initial förbränning med en utvecklad energimängd anpassad för en initial antändning och en efterföljande sekundär förbränning, för en antändning av ett intillvarande brännbart material (6, 6a, 6b), som av trä formade vedstycken. Tändremsan (10) är, vid ett för en förvaring avsett läge, tilldelad formen av en rulle och uppvisar i vart fall två tunna smala, långsträckta och samordnade remsor (10', 10"), upplindade till en kompakt spiralform. Tändremsan (10) är strukturerade som och utgörande av i vart fall en tunn pappersremsa (10') och av i vart fall en tunn plastremsa (10") och att tändremsan (10), i ett avlindat och icke-kompakterat tillstånd (9), är så samordnad att en snabb antändning och en förbränning av pappersremsan (10') och plastremsan (10") kommer att ske.
