Abstract

La présente invention concerne le marquage des perles de culture afin d'en améliorer la traçabilité et l'authentification par l'apposition, sur le nucléus, d'une marque visible ou mesurable aux rayons X, ou par la fixation sur le nucléus ou sur la perle d'une ou plusieurs micro-puces activables par radio fréquences (RFID) émises par un lecteur capable d'établir une communication avec les micro-puces. Le dispositif selon l'invention consiste à apposer un numéro, un texte, dessin ou code barre, ou à fixer une ou plusieurs micro puces sur la surface du nucléus avant que celui-ci ne soit inséré dans l'huitre perlière. La ou les micro-puces peuvent également être fixées sur la perle. La matière employée pour l'écriture du numéro doit être opaque aux rayons X et bien tolérée par les huitres et les humains.The present invention relates to the marking of cultured pearls in order to improve their traceability and authentication by the affixing, on the nucleus, of a mark visible or measurable by X-rays, or by the fixation on the nucleus or on the pearl of one or more radio frequency (RFID) activatable microchips emitted by a reader capable of establishing communication with the microchips. The microchip (s) can also be fixed on the pearl. The material used for writing the number must be opaque to X-rays and well tolerated by oysters and humans.
