Abstract

An electrode for electrochemical processes, particularly suited for use as oxygenevolving anode, is prepared starting from a titanium substrate by alkali pickling under controlled conditions. After the pickling step, the titanium substrate is preferably provided with a coating containing titanium dioxide.
