Description

OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a piece for securing glasses to a bathing cap, which provides essential novelty characteristics and notable advantages with respect to the means known and used for the same purposes in the current state of the art.
More particularly, the invention proposes the incorporation of a swimming cap of the conventional type, an element that allows the bathing glasses to be maintained at that time, without the possibility of accidentally losing them, but in such a way that Glasses can be separated from the hat when the user wishes, with a view to cleaning them or replacing them, as appropriate. For this purpose, the proposal of the invention consists of a piece of a flexible material with properties similar to those of the hat's own manufacturing material, whose piece adopts an elongated configuration and is capable of constituting, after its attachment to the cap, a kind of pin for the glasses braces, so that both elements (the glasses and the hat), are thus mutually linked. The scope of the present invention is, of course, within the industrial sector dedicated to the manufacture of sports accessories for the bathroom, such as caps and the like. Background and Summary of the Invention It is known by all in general the fact that among the practitioners of swimming, there is a widespread fondness for the use of glasses, especially when such activity is carried out in the mat and the practitioner of the same You want to "see" underwater in order to observe the seabed and its peculiarities. However, since glasses are usually used less frequently and are a separate and independent garment from any other element, it is often the case that they leave in different places to those of the hat, it is also usual that frequently, cause the effective loss of the glasses, or at any given time the user does not know where he left them.
Therefore, it would be desirable to have the possibility of linking both elements, the cap and the swimming goggles, so that the user can dispose of the set at the time they want to use it, and without having to waste time in the search for any of them.
In this sense, the present invention proposes a solution whereby it is possible to eliminate the inconveniences associated with prior art devices, by providing a bathing cap provided with a retention element for the glasses, and which prevents these The latter can be separated. of the hat accidentally. The main features of this The arrangement is contained in the characterizing part of claim 1. In essence, the element developed by the present invention consists of a piece of flexible material, capable of being heat sealed to the cap during the same manufacturing process thereof, by the back of the hat, and that constitutes a pin for the glasses braces. Thus, when the user is not using the set, both elements of glasses and hat remain mutually linked to each other, while, if necessary, the user can perform the separation of said elements by releasing the joint between the adjustable end of the strap and the body of the glasses. As will be understood, it is a simple solution that effectively solves the problems raised, and that is practically effective and easy and economical to implement.
These and other features and advantages of the invention will become more clearly apparent from the detailed description that follows in a preferred embodiment, given only by way of illustrative and non-limiting example, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Description of a Preferred Embodiment As indicated above, the detailed description of the preferred embodiment of the invention will be carried out with the help of the attached drawings, through which they use the same numerical references to designate the same or similar parts. Thus, referring first to Figure 1, a rear elevation representation of a cap provided with the part of the invention, in its condition of use, can be seen. As shown, the bathing cap 1 is formed, as usual, by two halves, of which each one covers a hemisphere of the user's head, that is, they are located in the left and right parts of the user, both being halves solidarity with each other along an intermediate line, indicated schematically by reference number 4.
In accordance with the invention, the proposed retaining part consists of a generally elongated element, indicated by numerical reference 3, preferably configured as an irregular hexagon, and corresponding to the construction of the cap, also appears divided in two parts. following the longitudinal direction, according to the central line portion 4, each of whose parts is also associated with one of the halves of the hat, the union being made between them and with said halves of the hat, by means of a heat sealing operation , during the same construction process of the hat. The union of the piece 3 to the cap is done by the ends of that, that is, the sides that adopt pointed configuration in the upper and lower positions of the representation.
With an arrangement of the type mentioned, the piece 3 superimposed on the material of the cap 1, constitutes a flexible pin, as a bridge, which lets the cap, the straps of a pair of sunglasses go through the piece, while making the due effect of retention of said braces, avoiding unwanted separation of the glasses. This situation can also be seen in the aforementioned Figure, in which the straps 5 of the glasses can be appreciated by surrounding the user's head, resting on the cap, but passing under the pin or bridge provided by the piece 3.
This Figure clearly demonstrates the form of use of the assembly formed by the cap 1 and the glasses 6. As can be seen, the glasses preferably used are of the conventional type , that is to say, of the type of the ones with the braces 5 attached by one end to the body of the glasses by means of a hook releasable by the user. As will be understood, this characteristic of separating the hitch between the body of the glasses 6 and the straps 5, is in this case extremely beneficial for the purposes of the invention, since it can be used by the user when he wishes to remove the glasses from the hat , for example with a view to cleaning or replacing them, since it will be enough to carry out such release of the straps 5 with respect to the glasses 6, and to exert a traction on the straps in the opposite direction to that of introduction under the part 3, until that said braces are completely free and separated from the rest of cap 1.
It is not considered necessary to make the content of this description more extensive so that a person skilled in the art can understand its scope and the advantages derived from the invention, as well as develop and put into practice the object thereof. However, it should be understood that the invention has been described according to a preferred embodiment thereof, whereby it may be susceptible to modifications without this entailing any alteration of the basis of said invention, such modifications may affect, in particular the form, to size and / or manufacturing materials provided that they retain their flexible character and are trained to withstand heat sealing operations or the like.
