Abstract

L'invention concerne un terrain en gazon artificiel comprenant des brins d'herbe artificiels disposés sur une couche support comprenant des éléments capillaires sous forme a) de tubes capillaires placés entre les brins d'herbe artificiels et/ou b) de nerfs capillaires placés à l'intérieur des brins d'herbe artificiels, une extrémité des éléments capillaires étant placée dans une couche adsorbant et diffusant les liquides, de préférence une couche de feutre ou de coton. De préférence, une troisième couche sous la forme d'une couche de stockage d'eau est disposée sous la couche adsorbant les liquides. De l'eau est diffusée par les tubes et/ou les nerfs capillaires lorsqu'un joueur effectue un tacle glissé sur ledit terrain, cette eau servant à soulager la douleur du joueur s'il se blesse en effectuant une telle action. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé destiné à améliorer la qualité d'un terrain en gazon existant par application desdits tubes capillaires entre des brins d'herbe et/ou desdits nerfs capillaires à l'intérieur de brins d'herbe artificiels dans un terrain existant en gazon artificiel ou naturel.
