Abstract

Disclosed is a compress comprising a latent heat accumulator featuring constant supply of temperature to a human body and an energizing effect. According to the invention, two temperature zones (1a and 1b) are created during supply of heat to the human body by means of an accumulating material in the charged state. A constant heat is obtained which utilizes latent heat as well as perceptible heat from the difference in temperature as heat is given off to the body at a maximum of 42 °C, making it possible to charge great quantities of heat into the body at a temperature level that is bearable for the tissue. A buffer is created as a result of heat being permanently supplied to the human body. Continuous interaction of thermal states, and thus permanent photon emission, is obtained due to the constant recharging from the core >52 °C (1 a) into the buffer 42 °C (1 b).
