Abstract
The present invention relates to a digital camera having bluetooth module therein. The digital camera according to the present invention can wirelessly transmit an image captured to communication devices, for example, computer, printer, PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and mobile phone having bluetooth module therein respectively. The digital camera according to the present invention can also cably transmit the image to the communication devices not having bluetooth module therein. The digital camera having an adapter module so that the image can be wirelessly transmitted from the communication device having the bluetooth module to the communication device not having bluetooth module.
Description
DIGITAL CAMERA HAVING BLUETOOTH MODULE THEREIN
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a digital camera having bluetooth module therein so that an image taken by a digital camera can be transmitted to a communication device having a bluetooth module therein, for example PDA(Personal Digital Assistant), mobile phone, printer and computer etc..
The present invention also relates to a digital camera having adapter function so that an image taken can be transmitted to a communication device not having a bluetooth module therein, for example PDA, mobile phone, printer and computer etc. and that an image taken by a digital camera can be wirelessly transmitted to a communication device having a bluetooth module therein.
BACKGROUND ART
Recently, a digital camera is widely used because it has a good quality of picture and its image taken can be displayed on the computer monitor. That is, the digital camera has the advantage that its image taken can be stored in the computer in order for the image to be transmitted to other computers via Internet. To improve the function of the digital camera it must have excellent means for transmitting and receiving of the image taken to the other devices. However, the conventional digital camera has not function like that, and accordingly, a further development must be performed to improve an use efficient. The most preferable digital camera must operate without concerning whether a communication device has a bluetooth function or not.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention has been invented to overcome the above problems it is an object to provide a digital camera having a bluetooth module therein so that an image taken by a digital camera can be wirelessly transmitted to a communication device, for example, computer, printer, Personal Digital Assistant(PDA), mobile phone at home or in the office by bluetooth function.
It is another object to provide a digital camera having an adapter function so that an image taken by a digital camera can be wire transmitted to a communication device not having a bluetooth module therein and that an image can be wirelessly transmitted to a communication device having a bluetooth module therein.
In order to achieve the above objects, the present invention provides a digital camera having bluetooth module therein comprising: a DSP for processing an image taken by a digital camera and for transmitting the processed image to a bluetooth module to be outputted to a communication device having a bluetooth module therein and for transmitting the processed image to a USB cable to be outputted to a communication device not having a bluetooth module therein; and a bluetooth module for receiving the processed image from the DSP so that the processed image is wirelessly transmitted to the communication device having the bluetooth module therein.
In order to achieve the above objects, the present invention provides a digital camera having bluetooth module therein comprising: a DSP for processing an image taken by a digital camera and for transmitting the processed image to a bluetooth module to be outputted to a communication device having a bluetooth module therein and for transmitting the processed image to a USB cable to be outputted to a communication device not having a bluetooth module therein; a bluetooth module for receiving the processed image from the DSP so that the processed image is wirelessly transmitted to the communication device having the bluetooth module therein; a LAN for outputting the processed image from the DSP to the bluetooth module so that the processed image is wirelessly transmitted from the communication device not having the bluetooth module therein to the communication device having the bluetooth module
therein; a USB port for connecting the digital camera and the communication device when a wire transmitting; and a USB cable for being connected to the USB port.
The communication devices comprise computer, printer, PDA, and mobile phone.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
Fig. 1 is a block diagram for wire/wireless communication of a digital camera according to the present invention.
Fig. 2 is a block diagram for a digital camera of Fig. 1.
Fig. 3 is a block diagram for transmitting data of a digital camera using bluetooth function according to the present invention.
Fig. 4 is a block diagram for transmitting data of a digital camera using bluetooth adapter function according to the present invention.
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
A detailed description of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a block diagram for wire/wireless communication of a digital camera according to the present invention, Fig. 2 is a block diagram for a digital camera of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a block diagram for transmitting data of a digital camera using bluetooth function according to the present invention and Fig. 4 is a block diagram for transmitting data of a digital camera using bluetooth adapter function according to the present invention.
As shown in Fig. 1 a digital camera having a bluetooth module therein according to the present invention comprises a digital camera 2 having the functions that serves a bluetooth communication for a communication device 1 having a bluetooth module therein and that serves a bluetooth adapter communication for a communication
device 3 not having a bluetooth module therein.
As shown in Fig. 2 a digital camera having a bluetooth module therein according to the present invention comprises an image 21 taken by a digital camera 2, a DSP(Data Signal Processor) 22 for processing the image 21 taken by the digital camera 2 and for transmitting the processed image to a bluetooth module 23 to be outputted to a communication device 1 having a bluetooth module therein and for transmitting the processed image to a USB cable 26 to be outputted to a communication device 3 not having a bluetooth module therein; a bluetooth module 23 for receiving the processed image from the DSP 22 so that the processed image is wirelessly transmitted to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein; a LAN 24 for outputting the processed image from the DSP 22 to the bluetooth module 23 so that the processed image is wirelessly transmitted from the communication device 3 not having the bluetooth module therein to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein; a USB port 25 for connecting the digital camera 2 and the communication device 3 when a wire transmitting; and a USB cable 26 for being connected to the USB port 25.
As shown in Fig. 3 a bluetooth fransmitting mode according to the present invention operates that when the image 21 taken by the digital camera 2 is inputted to the DSP 22 to be processed, the processed image is inputted to the bluetooh module 23 and thereafter it is wirelessly transmitted to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein.
As shown in Fig. 4 a bluetooth adapter module according to the present invention operates that when the image inputted from the communication device 3 through the USB cable 26 is transmitted to the bluetooth module 23 through the LAN 24, the image is wirelessly transmitted to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein.
The digital camera according to the present invention having the above constructions operates that when the image processed by the DSP 22 is inputted to the bluetooth module 23 and thereafter the processed image is transmitted to the USB cable 26, the processed image is selectively transmitted to the communication device 1 having
the bluetooth module therein or to the communication device 3 not having the bluetooth module therein.
The operations of the present invention will be in detail described. When the image is transmitted to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein for example the computer, the image 21 taken by the digital camera 2 is inputted to the DSP 22 to be processed and thereafter it is inputted to the bluetooth module 23. The bluetooth module 23 outputs the image to the communication device 1. The communication device 1 receives the image from the digital camera 2 using the bluetooth function and outputs the image to the monitor by the control of the control means so that the user can acknowledge the image.
When the image is transmitted to the communication device 3 not having the bluetooth module therein for example the computer, the image 21 taken by the digital camera 2 is inputted to the DSP 22 to be processed and thereafter it is inputted to the communication device 3 through the USB cable 26. The communication device 3 receives the image from the digital camera 2 and outputs the image to the monitor by the control of the control means so that the user can acknowledge the image.
When the received image by a wire from the digital camera is transmitted to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein from the communication device 3, the image is transmitted to the bluetooth module 23 through the USB cable 26 and the LAN 24 in order. The image is transmitted to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein through the LAN 24. At this time, the digital camera serves as the LAN not the camera.
INDUSTRIAL AVAILABILITY
As mentioned above the present invention has the advantages as the followings. First, an image taken by a digital camera can be wirelessly transmitted to a communication device having a bluetooth module therein using the bluetooth function.
Second, an image taken by a digital camera can be wire transmitted to a communication device not having a bluetooth module therein through an USB cable.
Third, an image taken by a digital camera received by the wire transmission due to not having a bluetooth module can be wirelessly transmitted to a communication device having a bluetooth module using a bluetooth adapter mode.
Fourth, the image can be wirely/wirelessly transmitted/received between the mobile phone and PDA.
Claims
1. A digital camera having bluetooth module therein comprising: a DSP 22 for processing an image 21 taken by a digital camera 2 and for transmitting the processed image to a bluetooth module 23 to be outputted to a communication device 1 having a bluetooth module therein and for transmitting the processed image to a USB cable 26 to be outputted to a communication device 3 not having a bluetooth module therein; and a bluetooth module 23 for receiving the processed image from the DSP 22 so that the processed image is wirelessly transmitted to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein.
2. The digital camera having bluetooth module therein comprising: a DSP 22 for processing an image 21 taken by a digital camera 2 and for transmitting the processed image to a bluetooth module 23 to be outputted to a communication device 1 having a bluetooth module therein and for transmitting the processed image to a USB cable 26 to be outputted to a communication device 3 not having a bluetooth module therein; a bluetooth module 23 for receiving the processed image from the DSP 22 so that the processed image is wirelessly transmitted to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein; a LAN 24 for outputting the processed image from the DSP 22 to the bluetooth module 23 so that the processed image is wirelessly transmitted from the communication device 3 not having the bluetooth module therein to the communication device 1 having the bluetooth module therein; a USB port 25 for connecting the digital camera 2 and the communication device 3 when a wire transmitting; and a USB cable 26 for being connected to the USB port 25.
3. The digital camera having bluetooth module therein in accordance with claim 1 or claim 2, the communication devices 1 and 3 comprise computer, printer, Personal Digital Assistant(PDA), and mobile phone.
