Abstract
Inside a metallic threaded body (1) with holes (4) spaced symmetrically in a cover, there is a plastic element (3) with a ring cut off from the inside over the half of the thickness, which is closely adjoining to the bottom of the threaded cylinder. The . ring is connected with a sleeve provided with a thickening (11) on its circumference and which is terminated with two symmetrically arranged projections (10), which sleeve includes an integrated circuit (7) with a loudspeaker (6) and two parallel leads (8). On the element (3), there is installed a plastic casing (2) in a form of a ring and U-type body which has inside a circumferential groove (13). The U-type body is received by bottle neck to separate the contents of the bottle. Accurate connection of the casing (2) and the plastic element (3) is ensured by positioning the thickening (11) in the groove (13) so as a small rotation of the plastic casing (2) together with installed battery (5) therein is possible with respect of the stiffened plastic element (3) with electronic circuit. The rotation of the plastic casing is less than 90 degrees and is limited by two teeth (9) and the projection (10) in the plastic element sleeve. Such a small rotation causes the battery to be touched by the leads (8) of the integrated circuit and the sound, e.g. melody, convivial song or toast, to be turned on. Further unscrewing of the threaded screw top causes simultaneous and consistent rotation of the whole unit because the tooth (9) is engaged with the projection (10) and thus eliminates any possible rotation of the top with the plastic element (3) and the plastic casing (2).
Description
MUSIC SCREW TOP FOR BOTTLE
The subject matter of the invention is a music screw top for a bottle with alcohol and the way of activating sound in the music screw top.
Well known is occasional screw top for bottles with alcohol, for example that of the Polish utility model No. W 108 970 referring to pilferproof-type arrangement equipped with electronic device located between a bottom and a foil gasket. The device is composed of a micro-battery, a micro-switch in the form of a sensor coupled with a micro-processor which plays back occasional melodies. When the screw top is being twisted off, the micro-processor is turned on to reproduce popular convivial melodies.
The known way of activating sound in sound reproducing screw tops for bottles with alcohol consists in that a battery-powered electronic device is turned on by releasing the pressure exerted on a micro-switch (sensor) as a result of twisting off a closing device. Sound may be turned off by re-twisting on the screw top on the bottle.
The drawback of the known solutions is that there are difficulties in interrupting the playback of the melody following the screw cap is twisted off. This is in practice only possible by re-twisting on the bottle's top.
The music screw top according to the invention has, inside its metallic threaded body, a plastic element, with a ring cut off from the inside over a half of the i thickness, closely adherent to the bottom of the threaded closing device. The ring of the plastic element has a sleeve, interconnected with it, which is terminated with two symmetrical projections. Inside the sleeve, there is an integrated circuit with a loudspeaker and two parallel leads. The sleeve is provided with a thickening on its
external circumference. Symmetrical holes are arranged on the metallic body cover. On the plastic element, there is installed a plastic casing as a ring and U-type body connected with the ring and including a circumferential internal groove. The U-type body closely enters the bottle neck and includes, in its rounded bottom section, a vertically positioned battery between the leads of the 1C and the loudspeaker. Each projection of the plastic element is positioned between two teeth arranged inside the U-type body, at the height of contact point between the battery and the plastic element sleeve, spaced at 90 degrees approximately.
The way of activating sound in the music screw top for a bottle with alcohol consists in that the current from the battery is turned on and off by rotating, about the screw top symmetry axis, the electronic device with respect of the battery through an angle less than 90 degrees.
The unit consistent with the invention is schematically shown, in an exemplary execution, in the drawing where Fig.1 shows the cross section of the screw top along its axis of symmetry, Fig.2 is the top view, Fig.3 illustrates the cross section along the contact between the battery and the plastic element sleeve when the unit is turned on, and Fig.4 shows the axonometry of screw top components to the order of their assembling.
The solution proposed allows for a significant decline of the unit cost of the music screw top and ensures operational reliability; it also allows for free operational control of the screw top by turning it on and off at will.
Inside the metallic threaded body I, there is a plastic element 3 forced against a bottom of the body cover and having a form of a ring with a circular cut off on its inside to the half of its thickness and which is closely adjoining to the bottom of the threaded body. The ring is connected with a sleeve terminated with two symmetrical projections 10, said sleeve having been provided with a thickening H at about a half of its height. Inside the sleeve, there is integrated circuit 7 with loudspeaker δ and two parallel leads 8. On the plastic element 3, there is placed plastic casing 2 which seals all electronics and mechanics of the screw top. The casing is in a form of a ring which diameter is slightly less than that of the plastic element ring 3 connected with the U-type body including internal circular groove 13. The U-type body is received by the bottle neck to separate the unit from the bottle contents. Accurate connection between the casing 2 and the plastic element 3 is ensured by locating the thickening 11 in the groove 13 so as a slight rotation of the plastic casing 2, together with the
battery 5 housed in this casing, is possible with respect of stiffened plastic element 3 with electronic element. The plastic casing may rotate by less than 90 degrees and the rotation is limited by two teeth 9 and projection 0 in the plastic element sleeve. Such small rotation of the casing with the battery makes that the battery is touched by leads 8 of the integrated circuit and the sound, e.g. melody, convivial song or toast, is turned on. Further twisting off the threaded top causes the whole unit to be rotated consistently as the tooth 9 is engaged with the projection 10 and thus independent rotation of the screw top with plastic element 3 and the plastic casing 2 is impossible. After the screw top is taken off the bottle the sound may be turned off by slight rotation of the plastic casing 2 while holding external body of the top at the same time. Likewise, one can turn on sound again without a need to join the top with the bottle.
The metallic threaded body is provided with twelve equally spaced holes 4 allowing for better sound radiation from the loudspeaker 6.
