Abstract

The present invention relates to the method of easily connecting virtual spaces on the internet such as web sites, material rooms, notice boards, and e-mails by personal computers by personal computers (PCs) and of easily connecting virtual spaces in internet applied apparatuses such as internets TVs, web Phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and mobile telephones without changing the conventional user interface (UI) and interface due to development of the internet and increases in uses of the internet. System for easily connecting virtual spaces such as domains composed of combinations of various characters including Korean characters that are invented in order to solve that problem in that it is inconvenient to move to a correspoding site using a conventional internet protocol version. 4 (IPv4) web page character domain name or search engine. However, such system are not significantlly different from the Ipv4 method and it is necessary to change the UI and the interface of a user by adding a specific bar or button to cause inconvenience. Thus a method of moving to a corresponding page by inputting a simple key such as a combination of numbers as a mobile telephone number and a contraction key to an address input window of internet explorer and Netscape navigator without changing the UI and the interface is disclosed instead of a conventional method of using independent application, bar, or searching server and a domain name.

Description

WEBPAGE CONNECTING SERVICE MAKE USE OF PHONE-NUMBER
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a method of easily connecting a web site only by inputting a telephone number of a mobile telephone, an international telephone, or a local telephone to a web browser in a personal computer (PC), an Internet TV, a web phone, a personal digital assistant (PDA), and a mobile telephone that can be connected to the Internet.
BACKGROUND ART An address input window of a conventional Internet web site has relatively complicated number codes as intrinsic Internet protocols (IP) and Internet protocol version 4 (Ipv4) held by the respective web sites. However, since users cannot remember such complicated numbers, the numbers are converted into characters suitable for a web site to obtain an address uniform resource locator (URL) or a domain name converted such that common users can easily remember.
Recently, a service in which, when a user inputs Korean characters to an Internet address input window, the site previously matched to the Korean characters is searched in a database (DB) to find the site is commonly used at home.
A method of writing down a URL using Korean characters or English characters to connect a corresponding web site is recently most common. A method of inputting the URL of a web site in a web browser and a method of inputting necessary information in a search engine to move to a web site can be used only when the web site is previously registered in the search engine, a portal site, and a Korean character Internet address web site. Thus, the methods apply to only specific sites. Recently, due to development of the Internet infra and a mobile technology, users can connect the Internet by various means such as mobile computers based on wireless Internet, Internet TVs, web phones, PDAs, and mobile telephones as well as desk top PCs regardless of time and places.
When users connect the Internet using Internet TVs, mobile telephones, and PDAs, since such apparatuses have no keyboards by which characters are input, it matters to connect the Internet. Recently, there are sites whose web pages can be connected by numbers. However, the numbers are not the only information on the sites and are only previously registered characters.
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a method of letting users of the Internet easily connecting web pages considering that users of the Internet increase in number.
It is another object of the present invention to provide an apparatus for connecting web pages and for transmitting e-mails by inputting personal telephone numbers instead of the addresses of web sites registered on a web by assigning intrinsic IP of the Internet protocol version 4 (Ipv4) or e-mail addresses comprised of characters such as Korean characters, English characters, and meaningless combinations of numbers to a web address input window or an e- mail address input window.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The objects and advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood with reference to accompanying drawings and detailed description of the preferred embodiment below.
Fig. 1 illustrates a process of inputting previously used telephone number data to an address input window of an Internet explorer and a Netscape navigator frequently used by all users of the Internet;
Fig. 2 illustrates a process of showing a corresponding web page when information on input of a telephone number is obtained through the Internet explorer and the Netscape navigator and when the corresponding telephone number coincides with a telephone number in a telephone number web service database;
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a series of processes of, when a telephone number is input through the Internet explorer and the Netscape navigator, confirming the telephone number to move to the corresponding web page;
Fig. 4 illustrates a process of all users who use e-mails provided by a conventional web inputting previously used telephone number data instead of the e-mail addresses of e-mail receivers;
Fig. 5 illustrates processes of, when information on the input of a telephone number is obtained through e-mail address input windows of e-mail receivers, all users who use e-mails provided by a web comparing the corresponding telephone number with telephone numbers in a telephone number web service database, confirming whether the telephone number is registered, and transmitting e-mails; and
Fig. 6 is a flowchart illustrating processes of all users who use e-mails provided by a conventional web inputting previously used telephone number data instead of the e-mail addresses of e-mail receivers to transmit e-mails.
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an apparatus for connecting a corresponding web site and for transmitting e-mails only by replacing conventional uniform resource locators (URLs) and e-mail addresses comprised of characters such as Korean characters, English characters, and meaningless combinations of numbers by personal telephone numbers to assign and input the telephone numbers to the respective web sites.
Fig. 1 illustrates a process of inputting a telephone number using a conventional URL input window 101 of conventional Internet explorer and Netscape navigator. That is, a software module 102 having a telephone inputting function is provided in a conventional web browser in a client PC using a user interface (UI) familiar with users such as conventional Internet explorer and Netscape navigator.
In Fig. 2, when a system message cue 201 transmits a message to a message distribution system 202, the message is transmitted to the respective processors 203. In the step where the message is transmitted to the respective processors 203, Intercept modules 206 are mounted in the processors such that it is determined by a holding system 204 whether the message transmitted to the processors 203 through the message cue 201 and the message distribution system 202 is information on a telephone numbers. The message determined by the holding system 204 is compared with telephone numbers in a telephone number web page in a database (DB) and is moved to message modules 205 such that a user moves to a desired home page by only inputting a telephone number.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating the movement of information in the processors. After driving the Internet explorer and the Netscape navigator (step 301), when a telephone number is input to the address input window of the Internet explorer and the Netscape navigator (step 302), it is determined whether a telephone URL exists (step 303). When a web page using telephone numbers does not exist (step 304), it is informed to the user that the corresponding URL does not exist (step 305) and it is request to input the corresponding URL (step 306). When it is determined in the step 303 that the telephone URL exists, the URL corresponding to the telephone number web page is shown to the user and the user assisted to use the Internet by a method simpler than a conventional method. Fig. 4 illustrates a process of all users of e-mails provided by a conventional web inputting previously used telephone number data instead of e-mail addresses of e-mail receivers. Since it is not necessary to separately generate an address input window and a conventional receiver input window is used (401), it is possible to transmit e-mails by only telephone numbers of e-mail receivers without remembering e-mail addresses of the e-mail receivers. In Fig. 5, information on the input of telephone numbers to e-mail address input windows of e-mail receivers by all users who use e-mails provided by a web is transmitted to a message distribution system 502 by a system message cue 501. Accordingly, in Intercept modules 504 prior to the step of transmitting e-mail contents to processors 503, it is determined whether an e-mail transmission service can be performed on information on the telephone numbers of receivers input by transmitters using an Intercept module holding system 505 (step 506). When the telephone number web service is available, the e-mail contents are moved to message processing modules 507 and are transmitted to receivers that are owners of the input telephone number data.
In Fig. 6, when all users who use e-mails provided by a conventional web connect a web site in order to use e-mails (step 601), write e-mails (step 602), and input telephone numbers of receivers instead of e-mail addresses of receivers (step 603), it is determined whether the telephone numbers are in a telephone number web service DB (step 604). When information on the telephone numbers does not exist, an input error message is transmitted to users (step 605) and the users are requested to re-input telephone numbers (step 606). When it is determined in the step 6Q4 that the telephone numbers are in the telephone number web service DB, e-mails are transmitted to the receivers who are the owners of the input telephone number data.
INDUSTRIAL APLICABILITY
The present invention relates to a system of inputting telephone numbers to all web pages and e-mail address input windows on the Internet to move corresponding pages and to transmit e-mails. According to the system, beginners who are not familiar with the Internet and keyboards can easily use the Internet and e-mails through a web browser without significantly deviating from a conventional interface.
Recently, due to development of the Internet, users can connect the Internet regardless of time, places, and terminals. Accordingly, it is possible to improve Internet contents and to activate personal home pages using a method of connecting the Internet by Internet TVs, PDAs, web phones, and telephones that do not support keyboards and a method of connecting the
Internet by telephone numbers that can be easily memorized in conventional computers and notebooks.
