Steckdosenleisten an das Netz angeschlossen werden, mit einer Überspannungs-Schutzschaltung mit Varistor, Gerätesicherung und LED-Anzeigen für die Zustands- anzeige, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gerät als nachträglich steckbarer Stecker ausgebildet ist, wobei die im Steckergehäuse untergebrachte Schutzschaltung mindestens zwei Endkontakte aufweist, welche als Ausgangskontakte des Steckers ausgebildet sind, sodass der Stecker über diese Ausgangskontakte austauschbar in eine Steckdose einer Mehrfachsteckdose oder einer Steckdosenleiste einsteckbar ist, um dabei die übrigen parallel geschalteten Steckdosen vor zerstörerischer Überspannung zu schützen. 1.
