Abstract

The invention relates to a method of producing armchair side panels which can be fixed to a support leg (3), the tread of a step (33) or the riser of a step (133), said method consisting in moulding one single plastic part. The inventive method involves the use of a mould comprising: a fixed part (1), which is used to produce the main body (2) that is common to all of the aforementioned panels; and interchangeable parts (6), (66), (4), (44), (144) which are used to produce the floor or step support means as well as a fixed armrest (8) or end elements (9) for the side panel, to which a folding armrest is connected (12).
