Description

BLADDER FOR FISHING NET OF SEA CULTIVATION
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a bladder for fishing net
of sea cultivation that is used to allow a fishing net for
cultivating seaweed, laver, oyster and so on to be stretch in
the sea on the shore or allow the fishing net to be floated at a
predetermined position in a fishing farm, and more particularly,
to a bladder for fishing net of sea cultivation that is made of
an ethylene vinyl acetate (hereinafter, referred to as "EVA")
sponge foamed resin material exhibiting low density and high
strength properties, while not generating any environmental
pollution, unlike a conventional bladder that is made of only
Styrofoam or foamed urethane as a floating material.
Background Art
According to the prior art, a bladder for a fishing net
that is used to stretch the fishing net in the sea is of a
generally round container that is made of Styrofoam and so as to
protect the outer peripheral surface of the round container, it
has an outer casing that is made of a hard synthetic resin or a
substantially thick vinyl bag provided thereon, thereby keeping
weather resistance and obtaining protecting effects for damages.
Under the conventional construction, however, the outer
casing or the vinyl bag may be damaged or torn by external impacts such as the collision against a fishing ship, with a
result that the inner Styrofoam body is easily broken. As the protection function disappears, therefore, the term of usages of
the bladder becomes relatively short. Especially, the pieces of
the Styrofoam body are floated such that they pollute the sea
area along the shore. Up to now, however, no suitable
replacement material had been developed, and therefore, there is
a need for improvement of the bladder in reasonable ways. The
present invention has been made with various studies to solve
the above problem and as a result, it has been found that if the
bladder is formed of a low density of EVA sponge foamed material,
in place of the Styrofoam as used in the prior art, it can exert
its original function as the bladder, while preventing the
surrounding environment from being polluted.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve
the above-described problems, and it is an object of the present
invention to provide a bladder for fishing net of sea
cultivation that can exhibit a good buoyancy capability for a
substantially long period of time during which it is always
floated in the sea, a high protection capability from external
impacts like collision against a fishing ship, a good weather
resistance capability against temperature or sunlight, and no
secondary environmental pollution generation. To accomplish the above object, according to the present
invention, there is provided a bladder for fishing net of sea cultivation including: a generally hollow cylindrical container
body made of a low density of EVA foamed resin, the container
body having a pair of loops integrally formed on the outer
peripheral surface thereof in such a manner as to be adjacent to both side ends thereof for tying a rope for the fishing net
thereon, a concave groove formed on the outer peripheral surface
of the central portion thereof for coupling the tied rope
therewith, and a pair of locking grooves formed on the inner
peripheral surface thereof in such a manner as to be adjacent to
both side ends thereof; and a pair of caps coupled to both side
ends of the container body, respectively, and each cap having a
protruding portion formed in a round shape on the outer
peripheral surface thereof to correspond to the locking groove
of the container boy, whereby the protruding portion of the cap
is fitted into the locking groove of ' the container body to
define an closed space within the container body.
Brief Description of the Drawings
Further objects and advantages of the invention can be more
fully understood from the following detailed description taken
in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a bladder for
fishing net of sea cultivation according to the present invention;
FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the bladder of this
invention;
FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the bladder in which an
auxiliary floating member is filled;
FIG. 4 is an enlarged sectional view of an air pack sheet
used as the auxiliary floating member; and
FIG. 5 is a view used to describe the bladder of this
invention that is really employed in the fishing net of sea
cultivation.
Best mode for Carrying Out the Invention
Now, an explanation on the preferred embodiment of the
present invention will be in detail given with reference to
attached drawings.
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a bladder for
fishing net of sea cultivation according to the present
invention, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the bladder of this
invention.
The bladder of this invention is a generally hollow
cylindrical container body 1 with an inside space 2 formed
therein and is provided with a pair of caps 4 that is formed at
both side ends thereof, respectively.
The container body is made of an EVA foamed resin that
exhibits substantially high weather resistance, impact resistance and durability.
The EVA foamed resin generally exhibits low density and
high strength properties, thereby ensuring a high degree of
durability, and it also does not generate any environmental
pollution. Based upon the above properties of the EVA foamed
resin, the present invention adopts the EVA foamed resin as a
main material.
The container body 1 includes a pair of loops 7 that are
integrally formed on the outer peripheral surfaces in such a
manner as to adjacent to both side ends thereof, respectively,
for tying a rope for the fishing net thereon, one or two concave
grooves 8 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the central
portion thereof for coupling the tied rope therewith, and a pair
of locking grooves 3 formed on the inner peripheral surface
thereof in such a manner as to be adjacent to both side ends
thereof.
The cap 4 is adapted to be coupled to each of both sides of
the container body 1 and is provided with a reinforcing
protrusion 6 that is formed on the inside surface thereof such
that the cap 4 can maintain a predetermined degree of durability
and with a protruding portion 5 that is formed in a round shape
on an outer peripheral surface thereof to correspond to the
locking groove of the container boy. As a result, the protruding
portion 5 of the cap 4 is fitted into the locking groove 3 of
the container body 1. With the coupling of the container body 1 to the caps 4, a
closed space 2 is defined within the container body 1, and so as to prevent sea water from flowing into the container body 1, a waterproof adhesive material is spread sufficiently on the
sealing portion between the container body 1 and each cap 4 such that as the container body 1 is maintained at a completely
closed manner, the inside space 2 has a sufficient buoyancy
function.
In another embodiment of the present invention, on the
other hand, the inside space 2 is filled with an air pack sheet
9 that is made of vinyl paper. The air pack sheet 9 is filled in
a roll shape in the cylinder body 1.
The air pack sheet 9 is provided with a plurality of air
pockets 9a that are tightly formed between two sheets of vinyl
paper, as shown in FIG. 4, which may be used with the air pack
sheet for package that is commercially used in the market.
A reference numeral 10 denotes a fishing net.
As described above, the present invention is used for all
kinds of fishing nets used on the sea areas along the shore or
in the fishing farms, which is of the cylindrical container body
1 that forms the inside space 2 by the use of the left and right
caps 4 thereof. The bladder of this invention can be floated in
the sea by an excellent buoyancy function of the inside space
portion 2. The rope of the fishing net is fastened with the
loops 7 and the concave groove 8 of the container body 1, in the same manner as the conventional ways.
The present invention adopts the bladder for fishing net that is made of the EVA foamed resin exhibiting low density and
high strength properties and thus, the sea water is not
penetrated into the inside space 2 such that the inside space 2 exerts a high degree of buoyancy. Also, the container body 1 is
not easily damaged or broken by the external impacts such that
it exhibits an extremely good degree of expansion. As a result, even though the container body 1 collides with the sea water or
other obstacles, it can be readily returned to its original
shape. It is therefore appreciated that the present invention
displays a highly satisfactory result in terms of durability, stability, and rigidity.
In addition to the aforementioned advantages, the EVA
material is not sensitive to the sunlight or temperature changes,
with a result that the weather resistance is markedly improved
as compared with the conventional materials. This ensures long-
term usages. Especially, the EVA material does not generate any
environmental pollution causes, unlike the conventional
Styrofoam and therefore, it helps the surrounding environment
well preserved. Also, the production cost is not so high as
compared with the existing Styrofoam bladder with the plastic
outer casing, and it is therefore appreciated that the present
invention displays a highly satisfactory result in terms of
economics and practicality. With the filling of the air pack sheet 9 into the inside
space 2, on the other hand, the present invention prevents the
buoyancy of the inside space 2 from being lowered when the
container body 1 is damaged or broken.
Industrial applicability
As set forth in the foregoing, there is provided a bladder
for fishing net of sea cultivation is of a hollow cylindrical
container body that is made of an EVA foamed resin exhibiting
low density and high strength properties, with a result that the
buoyancy maintenance, durability, weather resistance, impact
resistance are greatly improved as compared with the
conventional bladder materials.
In addition, the bladder of this invention does not
generate any environmental pollution, thereby ensuring the
practicality.
While the present invention has been described with
reference to a few specific embodiments, the description is
illustrative of the invention and is not to be construed as
limiting the invention. Various modifications may occur to those
skilled in the art without departing from the true spirit and
scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
