Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'écrasement de données sur un support de stockage d'informations à écriture unique ainsi qu'un appareil d'enregistrement et/ou de reproduction de données afférent. Dans le procédé d'écrasement des données, une commande est donnée pour superposer de nouvelles données dans une première zone du support de stockage d'informations à écriture unique dans laquelle des données ont déjà été enregistrées. Ensuite, la première zone est considérée comme étant une zone défectueuse et les nouvelles données sont enregistrées dans une seconde zone. Ensuite, des informations de gestion de défauts actualisées, contenant des informations concernant les emplacements des première et seconde zones, sont enregistrées sur le support de stockage d'informations à écriture unique.
