Abstract
A loss surveillance device, installed at the beginning of water distribution systems, is apt to automatically interrupt the flow of water in case of anomalous system working due to water loss. The device includes, in particular, a sensor for detecting the flow of fluids inside pipes, said sensor working in a wide range of flow rates thanks to a an electric resistor in contact with the flow to be detected, and to an electric control circuit apt to the feeding of said resistor and to measure the corresponding electric resistance according to an appropriate measuring cycle.
