Description

FIXINGDEVICEFORLACE Technical Field
The present invention relates to a fixing device for all kinds of laces that are employed on the clothes or the openings of various bag type articles, and more particularly, to a fixing device for lace that can be used in easy, convenient manner, can exhibit , a substantially excellent clamping performance, and can be made at a relatively low cost.
Background Art
FIG. 1 shows a conventional fixing device for lace. Generally, a fixing device for lace 20, which is employed to secure a tightening lace 24 on various clothes or bag type articles, is moved freely to an appropriate position and after moving, fixedly clamps the tightening lace 24. As shown in FIG. 1, a male member 21 on which a through hole 21a is provided is inserted into a female member 22 so that the male member 21 is elastically supported by a spring 23. Also, the female member 22 is provided with an insertion hole 22a that is adapted to communicate with the through hole 21a of the male member 21 upon application of an appropriate pressure to the male member 21.
According to the conventional fixing device for lace, however, it needs the processes of assembling a relatively lots of parts, and if a slight force is applied for the secured lace, it eventually moves from the lace, thereby making it difficult to completely secure the lace 24 at a desirable position. Therefore, there is a need for an improved fixing device for lace capable of totally satisfying its moving and fixing capabilities with respect to the lace and also being produced at a relatively low cost.
Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a fixing device for lace that is made by pressing and bending a steel plate having a substantially high elasticity in a predetermined shape, such that it can satisfy its moving and fixing capabilities with respect to the lace, it can be used in simple manner, and can be produced at a relatively low cost.
Brief Description of the Drawings
Further objects and advantages of the invention can be more fully understood from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing a conventional fixing device for lace;
FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a fixing device for lace according to a first embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing the example of the fixing device for lace of the present invention employed in clothes; and
FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a fixing device for lace according to a second embodiment of the present invention.
Best mode for Carrying Out the Invention
Now, an explanation of the preferred embodiment of the present invention will be given with reference to accompanying drawings .
FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a fixing device for lace according to a first embodiment of the present invention', and FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing the example of the fixing device for lace of the present invention employed in clothes.
According to the first embodiment of the present invention, a fixing device 1 for lace, which is employed to secure a tightening lace 2 on, for example, various clothes or bag type articles, includes an upper pressure plate 4 and a lower fixing plate 5 placed in parallel relation with respect to each other, and an elastic element 3 provided for connecting the upper pressure plate 4 and the lower fixing plate 5, the elastic element 3 having an insertion hole 3a through which the lace 2 is inserted. In addition, the fixing device for lace 1 of the present invention is provided with a donut type of pressure element 4b that is adapted to be bent downward on the front end of the upper pressure plate 4, the pressure element 4b having a coupling hole 4a through which the lace 2 is inserted, on the center portion thereof, and with a donut type of fixing element 5b that is adapted to be bent upward on the front end of the lower fixing plate 5, the fixing element 5b having an entering hole 5a through which the pressure element 4b is inserted, on the center portion thereof.
The upper pressure plate 4 or the lower fixing plate 5 is provided with a coupling hole 6 through which a predetermined ornament 7 such as a button is fixedly coupled, and as shown in FIG. 4 showing another embodiment of the present invention, the fixing device for lace of the present invention includes two or more the insertion holes 3a and the coupling holes 4a that are provided, with a result that the number of the laces 2 corresponding to the number of the insertions holes and the coupling holes can be employed. In case of applying the fixing device for lace according to the preferred embodiments of the present invention to the openings of various bag type articles, a variety of shapes are formed on the surfaces of the pressure plate 4 and the fixing plate 5 in an insert manner, which gives an additional function of improving its outer appearance.
Hereinafter, an explanation of the operation of the fixing device for lace according to the preferred embodiments of the present invention will be given.
As shown in FIG. 3, in case of fixing the lace 2 on clothes, the pressure plate 4 is depressed at the state where the fixing device for lace 1 has bee held by a user' s hand. Thereby, the pressure element 4b that is bent downward on the end portion of the pressure plate 4 is inserted into the entering hole 5a of the fixing plate 5 that is bent upward on the end portion of the fixing plate 5 and is then moved downward, such that the portion of the pressure element 4b is exposed to the lower side of the fixing element 5b. At that time, the end of the lace 2 to be fixed is inserted sequentially into the coupling hole 4a on the pressure element 4b and into the insertion hole 3a on the elastic element 3, and after that, when the holding state for the fixing device for lace 1 by the user' s hand is released, the fixing device for lace 1 becomes at a fixed state.
According to the present invention, the lace 2 secured in the above manner is placed on the space formed between the pressure element 4b and the fixing element 5b, and at this time, the pressure element 4b creates its pressure force of moving upward by the restoring force of the elastic element 3 connecting the pressure plate 4 and the fixing plate 5, such that the lace 2 becomes depressed onto the fixing element 4b side, thereby achieving a substantially rigid clamping effect.
In the above state, the end of the lace 2 holds and pulls, such that the lace 2 is appropriately tightened. In more detail, if the end of the lace 2 pulls, the pressure element 4b moves downward and deviates from its position. To the contrary, if the lace 2 is to be untightened, the fixing device for lace 1 is held by the user' s hand and the pressure plate 4 is depressed, such that the lace moves at an appropriate position.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 4, the fixing device for lace 1 of the present invention includes two or more the insertion holes 3a and the coupling holes 4a, such that the number of the laces 2 corresponding to the number of the insertions holes and the coupling holes is employed, which satisfies a variety of articles with a plurality of laces thereon. Industrial applicability
As set forth in the foregoing, the fixing device for lace of the present invention includes an upper pressure plate 4, a lower fixing plate 5, an elastic element 3 provided for connecting the upper pressure plate 4 and the lower fixing plate 5, having an insertion hole 3a through which a lace 2 is inserted, a pressure element 4b adapted to be bent downward on the front end of the upper pressure plate 4, having a coupling hole 4a through which the lace 2 is inserted, and a fixing element 5b adapted to be bent upward on the front end of the lower fixing plate 5, having an entering hole 5a through which the pressure element 4b is inserted. Under the above configuration, the fixing device for lace 1 is made by pressing and bending a material having a substantially high elasticity in a predetermined shape, such that it can satisfy its moving and fixing capabilities with respect to the lace, it can be used in simple manner, and can be produced at a relatively low cost.
In addition, in case of applying the present invention to clothes, it can be embedded in the clothes, which achieves the development of the designs of the clothes. And, in case of applying the present invention to the openings of all kinds of bag type articles, a variety of shapes are formed on the surfaces of the pressure plate 4 and the fixing plate 5 in an insert manner, which gives an additional function of improving its outer appearance.
While the present invention has been described with reference to a few specific embodiments, the description is illustrative of the invention and is not to be construed as limiting the invention. Various modifications may occur to those skilled in the art without departing from the true spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
