Abstract

L'invention concerne un système destiné au suivi d'un article, permettant de déterminer l'authenticité de cet article, par exemple, comprenant un code aléatoire unique (8) placé sur l'article (6) ou associé à ce dernier. Ce code peut être détecté et comparé à des informations concernant l'article correspondant au code, stockées dans une base de données à distance (12). Des données sont transmises entre le détecteur (4) et la base de données pour déterminer si l'article est authentique.
