Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a structural component (14) that comprises at least one foamed layer, constituted by one or more types of propellant and one or more types of metal powder, and at least one massive metal layer (2; 3). In order to produce the foamed layer a powder is mixed from a plurality of components and the mixture (1) so obtained is subjected to at least one pressure treatment together with the one or more metal layers (2; 3) and is expanded later on. The method is characterized in that the semi-finished product (4) obtained after expansion is introduced into a molding tool (9) and is molded.
