Abstract

The inventive propelling device can be used for moving in an air or water medium. The inventive propelling device consists of a cylindrical body provided with flat lids having a section which is radially cut out away from the axis of rotation at a sectional angle of 180°. A working wheel is arranged in said body in such a way that it is rotatable. Said working wheel comprises a barrel for the connection thereof to a drive and radial blades which are embodied with a minimum space with respect to the internal surface of the body, the working surfaces thereof being perpendicular to the plane of rotation of the wheel.
