Abstract
L'invention concerne la conception d'une installation de production d'énergie à génération de vapeur à haute intensité de chaleur, qui peut s'utiliser dans des installations à génération de vapeur à combustible nucléaire. La barre de combustible de l'invention pour installations de production d'énergie à génération de vapeur comprend une source d'énergie. Cette source d'énergie a une structure périodique constituée en alternance de zones actives (1) contenant une source d'énergie et de zones inactives (2) remplies d'un ballast inerte. La période (L) d'alternance sur sa longueur des zones actives et inactives (2) est choisie dans l'intervalle L=1-100 dimensions efficaces de sa coupe (de ses diamètres). Les valeurs prépondérantes sont L > (λD/α) 1/2, dans laquelle λ est le coefficient effectif de conductivité thermique de la barre de combustible [cal/cm . sec . ° C], D est le diamètre effectif de la coupe de la barre de combustible [cm], α - coefficient de rendement thermique de la surface de la barre de combustible dans un milieu liquide en fusion [cal/cm2 . sec . ° C]. Le rapport de la longueur de la zone active et de la longueur de la zone inactive est compris dans l'intervalle entre 0,1 et 1, l'intervalle préférée étant entre 0,5 et 1. L'invention permet d'augmenter la résistance de la barre de combustible aux perturbations locales.
