As shown therein, the roller skate combined shoes according to the present
invention includes a shoe body 10 having a wheel insertion hole 11 in a lower center
portion of a heel, a support member 20 inserted into the wheel insertion hole 11 and
having a rotary shaft engaging groove 21 in an opposite side, a rotary shaft 31 detachably
engaged to the rotary shaft engaging groove 21, a wheel assembly 30 having a wheel 32
rotatable with respect to the center of the rotary shaft 31, a free escape prevention unit 40
formed in the support member 20 for preventing a free escape of the wheel assembly 30,
an escape assistant unit 50 formed in the support member 20 for supporting an escape of
the wheel assembly 30 if necessary, and an insertion hole filling member 60 inserted into
the insertion hole 11 when the wheel assembly 30 is escaped and adapted to form the
lower surface of the shoe body 10 in a flat surface.
As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the present invention is directed to the roller skate
combined shoes. When using as the roller skate, the wheel assembly 30 is engaged to the
support member 20 of the wheel insertion hole 11 formed in the heel of the body 10 for
thereby implementing a skating structure. When using as the common shoes, as shown in
Figures 3 through 6, the wheel assembly 30 is escaped from the support member 20 of the
wheel insertion hole 11, and the insertion hole filling member 60 is filled into the wheel
insertion hole 11, for thereby implementing a common shoe structure.
In the present invention, the wheel assembly 30 formed of the rotary shaft 31 and
the wheel 32 is engaged or disengaged from the wheel insertion hole 11 of the shoe body 10. In the case that the wheel assembly 30 is engaged and used as a roller skate, the free
escape prevention unit 40 is used for preventing the wheel assembly 30 from being
escaped from the wheel insertion hole 11 of the shoe body 10 for thereby implementing a
certain desired safety when in use. After the skating is finished, in the case that the wheel
assembly 30 is escaped from the wheel insertion hole 11 of the shoe body 10, there is
provided the escape assistant unit 50 for easily separating the wheel assembly 30 for
thereby implementing a convenient operation when in use.
The construction of the free escape prevention unit 40 will be described.
In the roller skate combined shoes according to the present invention, the wheel
assembly 30 is formed of the rotary shaft 31 and the wheel 32. In the present invention,
since the rotary shaft 31 is detachably engaged in the rotary shaft engaging groove 21 of
the support member 20 installed in the wheel insertion hole 11, it is needed to prevent the
rotary shaft 31 from being easily escaped from the rotary shaft engaging groove 21 in
order to prevent the wheel assembly 30 from being escaped from the support member 20.
In order to implement the above operation, the width of the groove of the rotary
shaft-engaging groove 21 is designed to be same as the diameter of the rotary shaft 31 for
thereby preventing an escape that may occur due to the friction. In another embodiment of
the present invention, a certain member may be provided to the support member 20, so
that the rotary shaft 31 is not escaped by the above member.
As shown in Figures 7 and 8, both sides of the rotary shaft 31 of the wheel
assembly 30 may be elastically supported by a tongs 41 formed in the rotary shaft engaging groove 21 of the support member 20 without a certain member for thereby
implementing a desired construction based on a simple structure. In the above
construction, it is possible to decrease a defective ratio due to a fabrication error.
Namely, when engaging the wheel assembly 30 to the support member 20, both
ends of the rotary shaft 31 are sequentially inserted into two rotary shaft-engaging
grooves 21. In the case that the portion of the support member 20 forming the engaging
groove 21 is implemented using the tongs 41 with a tongs structure, since both sides of
the rotary shaft 31 are supported by an elastic support force of the tongs portion 41, it is
possible to prevent the rotary shaft 31 from being escaped from the rotary shaft engaging
groove 21. Namely, it is possible to prevent the wheel assembly 30 from being escaped
from the support member 20 of the wheel insertion hole 11.
The construction of the escape assistant unit 50 will be described.
Since the wheel assembly 30 is prevented from being escaped from the support
member 20 by the free escape prevention unit 40, in the case that the wheel assembly 30
is disengaged in order to use the roller skate combined shoes according to the present
invention as common shoes, it is not easy to implement an easier escape.
Therefore, in the present invention, there is further provided an escape assistant
unit 50 for easily disengaging the rotary shaft 31 of the wheel assembly 30 supported by
an elastic support force of the tongs portion 41 of the support member 20.
In the present invention, since the wheel assembly 30 is attached and detached in
a vertical direction with respect to the support member 20 of the wheel insertion hole 11, the rotary shaft 31 of the wheel assembly 30 is attached and detached in a vertical
direction with respect to the rotary shaft engaging groove 21 of the support member 20.
Therefore, a certain unit is needed for supporting the operation that the rotary
shaft 31 is moved in an outer vertical direction in the lower surface of the shoe body 10,
so that the rotary shaft 31 of the wheel assembly 30 is easily escaped from the rotary shaft
engaging groove 21 of the support member 20.
In order to implement the above operation, the structure may be implemented in
such a manner that a certain member passes through the inner lower surface of the shoe
body 10 and pushes the wheel assembly 30. In this case, the escape assistant unit 50 is
engaged in the portion directly contacting with the user's feet for thereby decreasing a
wearing feeling.
As shown in Figures 12 through 14, the escape assistant unit 50 is preferably
engaged in a portion directly contacting with the user's feet. The escape assistant unit 50
includes a switch engaging hole 51 passing through in a direction of the support member
20 in a lateral surface of the body 10, a switch 52 operably inserted into the switch
engaging hole 51, a body 531 driven by the switch 52, an escape member 53 having an
inclination portion 532 extended from the body 531 and formed in such a manner that the
wheel assembly 30 is outwardly pushed when pressing and driving the switch 52, and a
tension spring 54 adapted to elastically support the body 531 of the escape member 53 in
such a manner that the switch 52 is protruded in an outer direction of the switch engaging
hole 51. The escape assistant unit 50 may pass through the both sides of the shoe body 10
or may pass one side surface. In the later case, the escape assistant unit 50 may be
installed in the side in which the tongs 41 of the support member 20 is formed, and may
be installed in the opposite side.
As shown in Figures 13 and 14, the escape assistant unit 50 is preferably
installed in the portion of the tongs 41 of the support member 20, so that the rotary shaft
31 of the wheel assembly 30 is pushed out when pressing and driving the switch 52.
Therefore, it is possible to more effectively use the structure of the support member 20.
Industrial Applicability
In the present invention, there is provided a certain unit capable of implementing
an easier engaging and disengaging operation of the wheel assembly. The present
invention is directed to providing a shoe formed in a structure that the roller skate
combined shoes are possible.
As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing
from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the
above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing
description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its
spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and
modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such
meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
