  • These toothings are intended for locking the strap 2 when the free end part 8 of the strap 2 inserted through the crossing aperture 16 is subsequently passed in from the fore end 100 of the strapping head 6, through the aperture 92 and is inserted in the open groove 94 at the underside of the extension 90 of the strapping head 6, as shown in Fig. 7, showing an embodiment of the strap where this is ready for being tightened around a strapping item.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une courroie (2) servant à mettre en paquets un article de cerclage (4), notamment des faisceaux de câbles, de raccords de tuyau, de conduites, et d'autres articles. Cette courroie est conçue de manière à s'enrouler au moins deux fois autour de l'article de cerclage (4), présentant la caractéristique commune que toutes les forces reliées au serrage sont absorbées dans une zone relativement petite autour de la tête de cerclage (6), ce qui limite la force avec laquelle une telle courroie peut être serrée. Cette invention concerne une courroie (2) dont les côtés (10, 12) comprennent des dentures interagissant entre elles (26, 28), cette courroie comprenant une ouverture traversante (16) dans une section plus étendue (14), dans l'extension de laquelle se trouve la tête de cerclage (6), comprenant une ouverture (92) communiquant avec la rainure ouverte (94) au niveau de la face inférieure (96) de la tête de cerclage. La rainure s'étendant entre l'ouverture (92) dans la tête de cerclage (6) est l'ouverture traversante (16). Les dentures interagissant entre elles sont ainsi guidées en vue de se coupler, et la force de tension de la courroie est répartie sur une grande partie de la courroie qui devra être serrée avec une force supérieure.
