Abstract
Comprises essentially an electronic device (1). Externally, the mentioned device has a threaded inlet for the water running inflow (2). It can be applied to the water pipe letting in cold or hot water from the hydraulic installation. On the opposite side of the device there is an outlet for the shower pipe (3) at which end (1), there is an electrical inlet for power cable (5) which operates at 110 or 220 Volts, and another electrical inlet for the bath release system (6) which is operated by inserting a special bath card (7). In the electronic controler device (1) inside area, as per Figure 4, the device inwards can be viewed. The water running in through the inlet (2) goes through the controls (SL1) and (SL2), flowing directly out (3) of the shower (4).
Description
Title: "ELECTRONIC TIME CONTROLLING DEVICE FOR SHOWER BATH AND OPTIMIZATION OF WATER, ELECTRICAL ENERGY, OIL BY PRODUCTS AND SO ON CONSUMPTION" The present invention requirement refers to a novel "ELECTRONIC TIME CONTROLLING DEVICE FOR SHOWER BATH AND OPTIMIZATION OF WATER, ELECTRICAL ENERGY, OIL BY PRODUCTS AND SO ON CONSUMPTION", specifically to a unique device applied to electrical, gas and the like showers, with a view to standardize and control the use of showers, more precisely the time one spends under the shower, in accordance to the users necessities and goals, rendering great advantages in energy saving, whether applied to residence, commerce or industry. The convencional Showers generally used in the consumer market are well known, for their design simplicity and easiness of opeation as well as their relatiwely small size. However, when it comes to energy consumption control, there are no specific devices to meer such purposes, it is up to users own will to manuelly control the period of time they remain under the shower, whitch, let us admit, is a rather irregular and inaccurate way of controlling such activity. Residentially speaking, there are always the possibility of the user turning the shower off by handling the shower control itself which may subject the user to electrial shoks. As to a commercial or industrial condition, the user generally foregoes on their electrical energy self discipline, that is, they probably will not turn it off lengthening their under the shower and, consequently, squandering water and energy.
On account of that the inventor, upon a long period of research, developed the shower time electronic control which roughly is a device inserted in a point between the water supply pipe in the wall and the shower proper. Such device has the following controls: 1. The shower duration time control adjustable as per the user's necessity; 2. Adjustable time duration between showering; 3. Water flow and electrical interruption at the end of the pre- programmed bath time; 4. Impossibility to turn on again (another bath) before the pre- programmed time between baths; 5. Optionally, a bip can be incorporated to warn the user the water flow will be shut off within a minute; 6. Optionally, a release card can be added to the system to delete the waiting time between baths (public or commercial local). Both bath duration and waiting time between baths are adjustable which are to be hadled strictly by the residence owner and/or commercial/industrial establishment responsible. In relation to public places, there may be cards previously acquired, each of these cards according to institution will provide a given bath duration, and shall be inserted in the apparatus aiming at releasing its use as per the period of time afore mentioned. Evidently, considering these aspects, the present bath duration electronic controller makes it possible to obtain high operational efficiency, ease installation, safety, mainly when handling the controller and as a main factor, an energy saving of about 70% over the original energy consumption, according to the example given on table "FOR ELECTRICAL ENERGY".
Next the electronic controller in question is explained in reference to the drawing hereattached, in which are represented: Fig. 1 - Perspective view of shoer bath controller; Fig. 2 - Perspective view of shower bath controller; Fig. 3 - Perspective view of the installed shower bath controller; Fig. 4 - Detaiies view of the shower bath controller inner system; Fig. 5 - Control circuit disposition view. The "ELECTRONIC TIME CONTROLLING DEVICE FOR SHOWER BATH AND OPTIMIZATION OF WATER, ELECTRICAL ENERGY, OIL BY PRODUCTS AND SO ON CONSUMPTION", object of this Utility Model Patent request, comprises essentially an electronic controller device (1), substantially cylindrical in its conception, preferably manufactured with plastic material liable to incorporate other types of materials as well as geometrical and/or electronic constructive variations.
Externally, the mentioned device has a thereaded inlet for the water inflow (2). It can be applied to the water pipe, letting in cold or hot water from the hidraulic installation. On the opposite side of the device there is an outlet for the shower pipe (3) at which end is the shower proper (4). On the electronic controlling device back end (1), there is an electrical inlet for the power cable (5) which operates at 110 and 220 Volts, and another inlet for the bath release system (6) which is operated by inserting a special bath card (7) The eletronic controller device (1) operating buttons (8) are located on the device cowling. In the electronic controler device (1) inside, as per Figure 4, the device inwards can be viewed. The water running in through the inlet (2) goes through the controls (SL1) and (SL2), flowing directly out (3) of the shower (4). According to figure 5, which helps to explain the bath duration controller electrical diagram functioning and the option as to the use of card and sound warning. Stressing that such scheme may be optionally adopted under microprocessor control. Thus, the electronic controller device under consideration allows, by means of its particular geometric construction, the incorporation of the eletronic controls and, also, as a fuctions of its compactness also deriving from its shape, to obtain a considerable efficiency and electrical energy as well as other forms of energy saving and optimum consumption.
