Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés de préparation d'une composition de globules à antigénicité considérablement réduite et à niveaux réduits d'hémolyse, au moyen d'un sérum ou d'un échantillon de plasma quelconque. Il s'agit de faire réagir un composé de masquage d'antigène ayant un poids moléculaire d'environ 20-40 kDa, et les globules rouges résultants ne connaissent pas d'hémolyse susceptible d'être engagée facilement par un sérum ou échantillon de plasma quelconque, par exemple au moyen d'une lyse complémentaire. Les compositions de ce type sont utilisées en particulier pour l'injection à des individus qui présentent un potentiel élevé de réaction immune, par exemple un receveur de sang allo-imunisé, ou encore dans des cas de traumatisme pour lesquels le risque de transfusion d'unité non compatible est plus élevé.
