Abstract

L'invention a trait à un réservoir pour chasse d'eau, dans lequel un tube vertical allongé fait fonction de récipient de stockage d'eau (1). Un orifice de déversement, placé dans la base du tube, est normalement fermé hermétiquement par un flotteur (7) qui est maintenu en place par le différentiel de pression existant entre la colonne d'eau supérieure et l'atmosphère. L'orifice de déversement se présente sous la forme d'un ensemble soupape de commande de chasse d'eau (6), qui comprend un piston (12) pouvant être mis en mouvement à la fois pour éloigner le flotteur (7) de l'orifice de déversement et pour refermer ce dernier. Le flotteur (7) remonte ensuite jusqu'à ce qu'il vienne en prise avec une butée (5). Puis le piston (12) est mis en mouvement pour ouvrir l'orifice de déversement, afin que la colonne d'eau emporte le flotteur (7) vers le bas jusqu'à ce que ce dernier referme l'orifice de déversement. Le réservoir selon l'invention présente l'avantage d'être rempli d'eau quasiment en permanence, et donc de pouvoir effectuer un cycle avec une grande rapidité, si bien qu'il permet une succession rapide de chasses d'eau. La hauteur de la colonne d'eau produit un effet de chasse d'eau plus puissant que dans le cas d'un réservoir alimenté par différence de niveau classique, ce qui permet de réduire le volume d'eau nécessaire à la chasse d'eau.
