Abstract

A pallet dispenser (200) and a method for stripping a lowermost pallet (150) from a vertical stack (152) of at least two pallets is disclosed. The pallet dispenser (200) includes a pallet magazine for containing the vertical stack of pallets (152) and a platform disposed below the pallet magazine. The platform is configured to support the vertical stack of pallets (152) such that the lowermost pallet (150) rests on the platform. The pallet dispenser (200) also includes a cantilevered pusher bar (232) configured to push the lowermost pallet (150) from under the vertical stack of pallets (152) and out of the pallet magazine. In another embodiment, the pallet dispenser (200) may include motion means for providing motion to the stack of pallets (152).
