Abstract

Der aktive Verteiler (AV) für Daten und Strom enthält einen intelligenten Datenknoten (13) und mehrere Anschlüsse (A0-A3) zum Empfangen und Verteilen von Daten. Die Verteiler können untereinander verbunden werden.Dabei übertragen die Anschlüsse nicht nur Daten, sondern auch eine Lieferspannung. Jeder Verteiler enthält eine Verbindungsleitung (14), die die Stromanschlüsse (S0-S3) mit einer Versorgungsschaltung (15) verbindet, welche aus der Lieferspannung eine niedrigere Betriebsspannung erzeugt.Mit derartigen aktiven Verteilern können Netzwerke beliebig ausgebaut underweitert werden. Die Erfindung eignet sich insbesondere für lokale Netzwerke im privaten Bereich bzw. für kleinere Netzwerke im kommerziellen Bereich.
