Abstract

The invention relates to a measuring device (26) for a heat exchanger comprising a pressure pipe (1) and at least one thermal element (2, 2'). Said pressure pipe (1) is provided with a pipe wall (3) encompassing a recess (4) which extends across a partial area (20) of the circumference of the pipe wall (3), accommodates the thermal element (2, 2'), and is filled with filling material (6). The inventive measuring device (26) is characterized by the fact that the thermal element (2, 2') is disposed off-center within the partial area (20) that is deformed by the recess (4). The invention further relates to a method for producing such measuring devices. The invention is characterized in that the size of the recess (4) can be decreased at a given size of the thermal element (2, 2') due to the eccentric arrangement of the thermal element (2, 2'), whereby the heat flow is obstructed to a comparatively small degree by the pipe wall (3) while local overheating of the pipe wall (3) is prevented.
