Abstract

L'invention concerne une pluralité de promoteurs à boîte MADS spécifiques aux cellules déterminées florales, issus de plantes monocotylédones, ainsi que des cassettes d'expression contenant de tels promoteurs, destinées à être employées dans l'expression de gènes souhaités de cellules déterminées florales. L'invention concerne par ailleurs des applications desdites cassettes d'expression et desdits promoteurs, notamment l'expression spécifique de gènes létaux ou de constructions antisens destinés à inhiber la floraison. Lesdits gènes ou constructions peuvent servir à augmenter la capacité fourragère d'herbes, ou à empêcher l'ensemencement de plantes. L'invention concerne également des procédés de modification de plantes de manière que celles-ci contiennent lesdites cassettes, ainsi que des plantes et des lignées cellulaires transformées.
