Abstract

The invention is a system and method for generating power from a combustion engine (102) that includes generating a vapor (110) from a liquid (106) through the capture of heat energy generated by the combustion engine. The system and method also includes generating electric energy from a thermoelectric device as a function of the temperature difference between the liquid and the vapor. Also included is a system and method including generating a vapor from a liquid through the capture of heat energy generated by the combustion engine and generating mechanical energy from an energy transfer device as a function of the generated vapor.
