Abstract

The membrane electrochemical generator (100) is fed with gaseous reactants and comprises a plurality of modules (101) connected in series or in parallel to each other. Each module (101) represents a mechanically autonomous generating unit and is delimited by a couple of conductive terminal plates (102) which enclose a plurality of reaction cells (103). The reaction cells (103) are connected to each other in series and assembled according to a filter-press configuration.
