Description

PIPE SUPPORTER COATED WITH THERMAL INSULATION MATERIAL
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a pipe supporter coated
with a thermal insulation material , and more part icularly ,
to a pipe supporter coated with an urethane thermal
insulation material having a foaming function.
Background Art
A conventional pipe supporter includes a pipe clamp
coated with a thermal insulation material after pipes
have been completely fitted. A conventional pipe clamp
includes two grips which surround and grip a pipe or pipes
up and down, and a supporter which is vertically connected
to a lower grip of the two grips and then connected to
a supporting body. In order to thermally insulate the
supporter, a thermal insulation material is divided into
two halves and then the two halves are attached to the
supporter left and right. As a result, a thermal
insulation performance at a place where the two halves
of the thermal insulation material are attached becomes
deteriorated, and thus although pipe fitting and insulation is elaborately done, dew forming cannot be
escaped .
Also, the upper and lower semi-circular grips include
laterally protruding flanges for mutual connection.
Accordingly, a thermal insulation work is done so that
a thermal insulation material surrounds the protruding
flanges. This results in bad appearance after pipe
fitting and insulation work.
Also, the thermal insulation work for the
conventional pipe supporter needs much labor time and
force, and a thermal insulation efficiency is decreased
due to a loss of heat through the connected portions .
Disclosure of the Invention
To solve the above problems, it is an object of the
present invention to provide a pipe supporter in which
a thermal insulation material is molded into grips, to
thus simplify installation, reduce labor force, and
minimize a loss of heat.
It is another object of the present inventio.n to
provide a pipe supporter in which foaming resin is coated
on the outer surface of frame members in a mold, thereby exposing an elaborate appearance and excellent thermal
insulation effect.
It is still another object of the present invention
to provide a pipe supporter in which frame members are
combined firmly with a thermal insulation foaming agent,
and the frame members made of steel plates do not contact
a pipe, to thereby prevent a dew forming phenomenon at
a lower grip supporting body.
To accomplish the above objects of the present
invention, according to an aspect of the present invention,
there is provided a pipe supporter comprising: an upper
grip including left and right flanges; and a lower grip
including left and right flanges and a supporting body
with which the pipe supporter is fixed to a supported
body, in which the upper and lower grips are inserted
into a mold, respectively, and foaming resin is coated
and hardened on the upper and lower grips in the mold,
to thereby enable a thermal insulation material to be
coated on the pipe supporter with a good appearance.
Brief Description of the Drawings
The above objects and other advantages of the present invention will become more apparent by describing the
preferred embodiment thereof in more detail with reference
to the accompanying drawings in which:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing frame members
of a pipe supporter according to the present invention;
FIG. 2 is a lateral cross-sectional view showing
a state of using the pipe supporter according to the present
invention;
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view cut along line A-A
of FIG. 3; and
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view cut along line B-B
of FIG. 3.
Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention
Hereinbelow, a pipe supporter according to the
present invention will be described with reference to
the accompanying drawings .
The present invention provides a pipe supporter
coated with a urethane thermal insulation material.
Referring to FIGs. 1 through 4, an upper grip frame member
11 is press-formed of a steel plate, in order to enclose
a pipe or pipes. Left and right flanges 12 and foaming agent coupling holes 13 are formed in the upper grip frame
member 11. Likewise, left and right flanges 22, foaming
agent coupling holes 23 and a supporting body 24 are formed
on a lower grip frame member 21. The upper and lower grip
frame members 11 and 21 are inserted into a mold,
respectively. In the mold, a urethane foaming agent is
foamed, coated and hardened on the inner and outer surfaces
of the frame members 11 and 21. Therefore, inn.er surface
thermal insulation layers 15 and 25 of the frame members
11 and 21 are connected with outer surface thermal
insulation layers 16 and 26, through foaming agent
coupling holes 13 and 23.
When a pipe supporter according to the present
invention is applied to a pipe fitting and thermal
insulation work, a pipe P is fitted between the upper
grip and the lower grip, and tightening bolts 31 are fitted
and tightened into the flanges 12 and 22. The installation
procedure of the pipe supporter is same as the conventional
art. However, the present invention has the following
effects.
Since the urethane foaming agents on the inner and
outer surfaces of the upper and lower grip frame members 11 and 21 which have been press-molded with steel plates,
respectively, are connected through agent coupling holes
13 and 23, and thus the steel plate frame members are
integrated with the urethane foaming agents, the present
invention provides a very firm pipe supporter.
Since the upper and lower inner thermal insulation
layers 15 and 25 completely surround the outer
circumferential surfaces of a pipe P, the supporting body
24 is separated from the pipe P perfectively via a thermal
insulation material. Thus, a dew forming phenomenon is
prevented at the supporting body 24, to thereby provide
a very excellent thermal insulation effect.
Since the inner surface thermal insulation layers
15 and 25 and the outer surface thermal insulation layers
16 and 26 thermally insulate the pipe P in double folds,
the present invention provides a maximized thermal
insulation effect.
Since the urethane foaming agent are foamed, coated
and hardened on the upper and lower grip frame members
11 and 21, the present invention provides a pipe supporter
with a good-looking appearance.
Since a separate thermal insulation treatment work is omitted during installation, the present invention
provides a pipe supporter with an easy and inexpensive
installation work,
Industrial Applicability
As described above, the present invention provides
a pipe supporter including an upper grip including left
and right flanges, and a lower grip including left and
right flanges and a supporting body with which the pipe
supporter is fixed to a supported body, in which the upper
and lower grips are inserted into a mold, respectively,
and urethane foaming resin is coated and hardened on the
upper and lower grips in the mold, to thereby enable a
thermal insulation material to be coated on the pipe
supporter with a good appearance. Here, a thermal
insulation material is molded into grips, to thus simplify
installation, reduce labor force, and minimize a loss
of heat. Also, foaming resin is coated on the outer
surface of frame members in a mold, thereby exposing an
elaborate appearance and excellent thermal insulation
effect. Also, frame members are combined firmly with a
thermal insulation foaming agent, and the frame members made of steel plates do not contact a pipe, to thereby
prevent a dew forming phenomenon at a lower grip supporting
body .
As described above, the present invention has been
described with respect to a particularly preferred
embodiment. However, the present invention is not limited
to the above embodiment, and it is possible for one who
has an ordinary skill in the art to make various
modifications and variations, without departing off the
spirit of the present invention.
