Abstract

The invention concerns a heat exchanger comprising parallel tubes (10) arranged in a plane. Heat exchanging surfaces (32), for example cooling fins, are associated with the tubes (10). Said heat exchanging surfaces are oriented in the plane of the tubes (10) of the heat exchanger. Preferably, the tubes are obtained by extrusion. The exchanger is advantageously assembled by induction brazing. The exchanger has little space requirement in thickness and can be installed, for example, beneath a motor vehicle floor.
